I’ve been working on Army Animations for 7 months now. I’ve been very busy, so I haven’t been able to finish it.
By the way, I made it based on an idea I got from someone.
These animations are compatible with both FEditor and CSA.
It’s “F2U F2E”, but I’ve done a lot of fine-tuning, so if you edit it too carelessly, you may end up with a mess.
Here, I even made battle animations for the Spear Fighter to help you out with that!

Hey, a Fighter with a spear is still a Spear Fighter. (And yes, that’s a spear; “lance” is specifically a term for polearms used by cavalry and not a general term for all polearms and I will die on this hill.)
Yes, I can tell that this is of… dubious quality. I’m not interested in trying to “improve” it, though; do that yourself if you’re willing and able.

Wanted to repalette the Mounted Bard into something… actually usable? The original was virtually impossible to create new palettes for and overall just a giant mess of colors (the hair color was on the lute, the skin tone was this weird pale yellow, etcetc.) The original also was screwed in terms of how the animation actually looked, with multiple frames with capes copypasted over other capes… yeah.
So I went ahead and updated it myself over the span of abooooooooout six or seven hours. I didn’t really improve the animation much, but I changed the frame order a lot, tidied it up, made it actually repalettable and added a female version for good measure. I also threw in (in the download in a separate folder) 3 alt palettes because I know some people are too lazy to make them for themselves.
And the credits doc for you Klok, but I’m not formatting it. Credit to Marlon_Louis for the original.

The lute and boot colors are tied to the skin, so dark skin may make the lute darker. Use at your own caution.
I removed the white from the skin to make dark skin possible in the first place.
I saw mention of the crates that are in The Road to Ruin. I’d completely forgotten about them. They aren’t really worth hoarding, so here ya go. Feel free to edit to your heart’s content.

Certain positions are off from the mouth and the eyes. The reason is because your portrait is slightly bigger than the original (in this case Serra) so they also don’t align. Did you use the original portrait from said game? Did you do it by scratch? Also, is this for FE6, 7 or 8?
You just need to cut a bit of the armor off, like so. When you’re editing with FEEditor, you might still have to rearrange certain position of the eyes manually.
Also, you might have to change parts of the mouth, at least the purple clothing cause it’ll conflict with her armor.
Here. This should hopefully work. It’s just a slight edit, although I’m not sure if the talking might be 100% perfect.
If you really want the extra bit of armor, it might be best to keep that position and then change the mouth (which is just a clip) and make it slightly higher, if you understand. If it aligns, it should hopefully be fine.
Hi, hello. I’ve been meaning to post stuff from my hack here and I am just getting around to it.
This is an alternate beta durandal animation where he slashes like the final game’s version instead of stabbing.
Axe and hand axe animations.
This is an edit of Spud’s bow animation for promoted Eliwood. The only difference is the dodge animation… but hey, someone might want it.
This is a very heavily edited Eliwood sprite to make a mage lord. I also made map sprites for it.
I’ve also made a female version.
Female Necromancer. Since I used FE7 exclusive stuff in this animation, I’ve included an FE8 version.
Last, and also least, this is just a minor repalette of of the original necromancer. Someone may want this too, who knows. Like the female, I made a 7 and 8 version.
This isn’t all the sprites I want to push out but formatting them all is a little time consuming. I’ll post the rest sooner or later.
