I see this and raise you: Every weapon has a range of 1-(half of whichever attacking stat the weapon uses, minimum is 5)
Fire AAAAAAAAmblem: Bows are involved in the weapon triangle now. They beat Anima, Light, and Dark, which all in turn beat Daggers, which themselves beat Bows. Now make these triangles interact with the main one, and add 9 more weapon types which interact with each other in this Weapon Web. Except for Staves, which can attack like in Radiant Dawn, but they’re not in the Weapon Web. Or maybe they have advantage against Shields and Gauntlets have disadvantage against Staves, iunno.
Dating Sim Emblem- Pick your class then pick your waifu/husbando and try to make them love you by meeting there requirements, each waifu has there own route with maps, objectives, and endings. Maybe one wants you to level 20 or max stats so you have to grind, maybe one wants the opposite and wants to protect you despite having terrible stats or class, maybe one of them is Anna and they just want alot of money.
Over n’ Underflow Emblem: Displayed Damage, Hit and Crit values that go below 0 do not snap to it. Instead, they wrap around to 99 and tick down from there. Likewise, [Hit] values that go above 100 wrap down to 1.
-Inverse hit emblem-
Attacks with 50 hit have a 100% chance to connect.
Attacks with 51 or 49 are treated as though they had 98 hit (still double rng)
Repeat all the way til 100 and 0 which both have a 0% chance to hit.
The story is seperated into arcs, each with 3-5 chapters.
Each arc takes place in distinct regions, and uses tilesets that are as distinct as possible from other arcs. For example, arc 1 only have grassfield maps, arc 2 maps only take place in night, arc 3 in snow maps only, etc.
Also: each arc’s shop selection is as distinnct as possible from other arcs. For example, arc 1 sells the usual weapons, but arc 2 only sells Katana, Naginata, etc like it’s Hoshido, and arc 3 sells chinnese weapons, etc.
And lastly, each arc have gimmicks that are as distinct as possible from other maps. Arc 1 will have no gimmick, arc 2 is always fog of war, arc 3 may have snow weather, etc.
EDIT: I’ll add 1 more:
Advantage Emblem
Weapon Triangle advantage, in addition to the regular bonuses, deal effective damage.
Slayer Weapons, in addition to the damage bonuses, guarantees crit against the target it’s effective against.
If a unit managed to gain both weapon triangle advantage and Slayer weapon effectiveness, they gain +12 Might.
Every 5-10 turns depending on season, day turns into night, making monsters spawn. To survive this, you have to build shelter via tilechange with specific classes with unique roles. There’s hidden loot on every chapter you can find. The end goal is to get enough loot to beat a big dragon in space.
Hey, you did say terrible ideas. Weapon Triangle advantages and disadvantages aren’t mutual btw, Gauntlets and uhhh Daggers both have an advantage against each other for instance
