Hello everyone!
A more involved Dev Log this time, but I really wanted to explain things regarding the PME.
What I’m planning to do is something similar to what I did with Lyn’s Bizarre Adventure; about 4 days after the final unit is summitted (and so every unit is finally complete), I’ll release a v0.9 Open Beta, with almost everything done like units, weapons, animations, palettes, music etc.
The only thing that will be left is the regular story dialogue as well as the support dialogue (tho I’ll at least change some key ones, and again every unit will use the correct changed names), but again I’ll definitely implement every single and paired ending that’s possible for v0.9.
I think this might be the last dev log, as I’ll definitely want to hard focus on making sure I’ll deliver the PME, as I’ll be honest with something; not only I still have IRL stuff that I need to take care off while I juggle working on the PME, but there’s some personal stuff happening that, for the lack of more colorful terms, is really starting to piss me off, and is making me not being able to concentrate in working on the PME.
So, again I’ll try my best to deliver the v0.9 just like with Lyn’s Bizarre Adventure, wishing the best with this PME all the same and I hope it will be fun.

Since the votes are very neck on neck, would it be all right Wii for me to request the following; make a ‘mix’ of the two portraits, using the Updated one as a base (since I really like how the cloak and hair looks), then giving it a similar ‘meh’ expression of the Original one (as Starshadow mentioned)? I think it will look perfect for Yowyin.

Reinforcing something about the supports: while there is a hardcoded limit of 7 support pairings per unit, there’s actually no such limit for paired endings AFAIK.
So not only you can choose to pair some units with others that otherwise didn’t had a support pair, as long as the unit in question still has support pairs left (doesn’t already have 7), but I can even implement a new paired ending between the two units, if the two users are okay with it. 
NOW, let me quickly showcase some stuff that I’ve already done too!
First things, here’s the weapon icon of the weapon that might be the most interesting sounding between all the new ones I’ll add; the Whip Sword.

This icon was based of the ‘Whip 2’ icon on the repo, made by EldritchA & Indogutsu Tenbuki (and since it’s an icon from Tactics Ogre credits goes to Quest Corporation & Atlus as well).
I’ve then edited it to add the recognizable bladed segments, updated the handle and changed it’s color to brown, and finally made it the same ‘downards-left’ angle as the other swords.
If you guys like it, I’ll also later on upload it on the main Repo thread to be F2U & F2E. 
Now, the second and final animation to show this time, is an Unarmed battle animation for the Noble Lyon animation by Aruka (the animation of Yowyin’s promoted lord class), who otherwise only had Swords and Magic Staves animations:

It’s a very simple animation I’ve put together, but if you guys also like it, I’ll do the same for the female version of Noble Lyon on the repo, and also upload on the main thread F2U & F2E.
