Alan: Huh!? Oh, oh yeah, forgot for one moment you could read minds. [CloseEyes] … [Switch to sad alt] [OpenEyes]. Yes, guess, I’m afraid.
Rogelio: …
Alan: Remember back when we were in our own country? Back when we had to fight a war against a big army? Funny that we’re in the middle of another one yet again, huh?
Rogelio: …
Alan: Rogelio… I can’t ask these types of questions to you, but… I can’t help but be afraid of losing you.
Rogelio: [Switch to worried alt]…
Alan: [CloseEyes] Were anything happen to you, the most probable thing I’d do would be make your murderer suffer.
Rogelio: Alan… You can calm down now.
Alan: [HalfCloseEyes]… Ah… Yes… [OpenEyes] I need to focus. We shouldn’t think about stuff like this on the battlefield… [Switch to normal alt] Alright, sorry to worry you. Let’s keep going.
Rogelio: [Smile] Yes, my friend.

Rogelio: Still troubled by your thoughts?
Alan: [HalfCloseEyes] [Switch to sad alt] Damnit, it’s still happening, right?
Rogelio: We need to clear those thoughts to make you feel better, Alan. You can explain them directly.
Alan: Ah… Alright… [OpenEyes] Do you remember something that happened a decade ago? Back when I was 11 years old, and you were just a 5 year old pup? Back in one fateful day of September, there was a massive kidnapping of a bunch of villagers, who were going to either be enslaved or put to the sword to see who was the strongest out of all of them?
Rogelio: I’d… Have to piece the fragments by myself.
Alan: Yeah, I’d figured as much. You had a concussion that fateful day. When we were among the citizens captured there. Guess ever since I was young I was skilled at leading others out of there and being a terrifying fighter. But you want to know there was the worst thing that happened to me that day?
Rogelio: [Switch to worried alt]
Alan: [Switch to glare alt] It was meeting face to face with the brigand that led the whole operation. God, I hate that son of a bitch. Veinly hiding that bloodthirsty and sadistic personality behind that smug and myopic facade. [Switch to sad alt] between those insults and talks he gave me, to hurting you when I was going to confront him. That day, something snapped inside of me.
Rogelio: …
Alan: [CloseEyes] I still remember that moment vividly. When I slaughtered that man like a rabid beast, not caring if his blood was in me, I just wanted him dead. And then me crying back to my parents after they found me outside. If it wasn’t for that moron of a mayor, this-
Rogelio: Alan… You can relax. Let me help you.
Alan: ah… [HalfCloseEyes] And I’m supposed to be the one to help you… That day, we both changed. We focused on building our own strength so that something like that wouldn’t happen again.
Rogelio: …
Alan: [OpenEyes] Rogelio, no matter what happens, I still hope we can make it both alive after this.
Rogelio: I promise you Alan, we will.
Alan: [Smile] Haha… Thanks.

Alan: Hey there Rogelio.
Rogelio: Alan.
Alan: Glad to see we’re still at it.
Rogelio: Yep.
Alan: And we’re getting even better.
Rogelio: You said it.
Alan: I wonder, how far we will get until we hit our limit?
Rogelio: Who knows? We’re still quite young.
Alan: Yeah, that’s right. … Rogelio. Once this war ends, are you going somewhere, or you’ll still stay with me?
Rogelio: For the moment I still plan on living with you.
Alan: Alrighty then. Oh, and sorry about our previous talk from before.
Rogelio: You don’t have to apologize. It’s fine to let out what you were feeling. If you didn’t, that would have burdened you further and harmed you.
Alan: That’s pretty much correct. You would make a fine therapist yourself.
Rogelio: I’d rather be a warrior, honestly.
Alan: Or what about a warrior therapist?
Rogelio: That would be better.
Alan: Or we could both be warrior therapists too.
Rogelio: Heh. Imagine that. Us giving lectures to others to prevent conflicts.
Alan: And if they decline, we beat the ever living lights out of them.
Rogelio: Yep. Haha.
Alan: Hahaha… Rogelio. Thank you. You’re the best thing to ever happen to me in my life.
Rogelio: … Same here, Alan.
Alan: Alright then. We need to finish another war. You with me?
Rogelio: [Switch to determined alt] [Smile] Always to the very end.
Alan: Ok then. Onward!
Final chapter quotes
Alan: I already beaten one powerful monster before. I can do it again. I’m not afraid. Let’s go!!
Rogelio: [Determined alt] You deserve death. I shall be the one to give it to you.
After beating the final boss:
Alan: It’s over. It really is over! Thank god.
Rogelio: Yeah. I’m so glad we made it.
Alan: Right. Now we can finally go back home. I hope. Would you like to have tacos for dinner?
Rogelio: Heh, I wouldn’t mind to have some chocolate too, you know?
Alan: Haha! You aren’t the joking one, usually.
Rogelio: [CloseEyes] Hehe.

Alan: [Sad alt] it’s… It’s finally over. [Half CloseEyes] at last. [CloseEyes] Now I can finally mourn you… Rogelio… …

Alan and Rogelio endings
Alan ending:
“Alan, cautious swordsman”
Alan came back to his own continent after the war ended. After arriving back home, he pondered on if he wanted to write the details about the war he recently participated in. Nobody knows if he did.
Rogelio ending:
“Rogelio, soul judger”
Rogelio came back to his home right when the war was over. Keeping in mind the experiences he had in this war, he focused on getting even stronger, all the time thinking not just for protecting his own glory, but his loved ones too.
Alan and Rogelio paired endings:
Alan And Rogelio came back to their own home after the war ended. Although they were happy to be back safe and sound and meet with their best friends again, they had yet to know the rest of the obstacles they would face in the future.
