I’m going to ask you to refrain from posting in the topic until you have something new to add, since all you’ve said at this point is the exact same thing
At this point multiple people have answered your question, it’s up to you to actually use that information and attempt to do something.
Once you’ve done that, please provide concrete proof of your attempt (like a screenshot of something you’ve done regarding the installation) before asking any more questions about said installation.

@Isaiah_Daniel, you’ve been asked to stop posting the same question. You have been told multiple times that people will not be making a video tutorial. Instead of repeatedly asking for something that nobody wants to make, I encourage you to attempt the install on your own using the instructions provided (including the risk of failure or error), and to ask for specific advice on specific installation steps, should you encounter a problem. As it stands, this engine is in a rushed-out beta state due to unforeseen circumstances, and you are not entitled to support.

Consider this a formal warning.

Believe it or not, blood’s response stands to reason. He’s not being prideful or rude. People aren’t going to be able to make a video tutorial every time you have a question. We simply don’t have time. And many of us also don’t want to uninstall everything just to reinstall it in a video. That’s excruciatingly time-consuming.

Nearly every person on this site is preoccupied with some kind of project of their own (whether it be upkeep of a repo, building a fangame/hack, or otherwise), along with likely working an irl job and/or attending school. Thus, you really have to be able to follow text for someone to help you.

And for the same reasons stated, we also cannot be building your projects for you should you need help with those. We can provide guidance or resources, but we cannot do it all for you. You simply have to be willing to help yourself before someone else can help you. And for the sake of not turning this WoT into an entire life lesson, I’ll digress here. As a wise footwear company once said, just do it.

hello there, need a little help whit a some comands.

How do I put the objective of the chapter to defeat all the enemies?

It would be nice if you publish in a text document with the commands for the events with a little explanation and text commands.

Inside the FEXNA folder, there is a little document listing ‘if statements’ and some other stuff.

I’m not sure if what you’re asking for is there, or if it isn’t and you’re asking for something to be added.

To be fair, Tactile really needs some good tutorials for how things get linked together.

The Mini FEXNA tutorial in the image I linked above is quite good and worth reading. I’ll link it here:

-Fix editor not using the active project’s TactileLibrary.dll
-Handle loading weapon data with weapon ranks that no longer exist
-Fix animation association preview visual bugs when computer display scale is larger than 100%

The first two of those updates are part of the engine code, so to update an existing project the easiest way is to use git. The guides included with FEXNA explain the basics if you need help.

re: tutorials above, that’s something to focus on in the near future when I have more time. I’ll be looking for people willing to help out then, so if you’re interested in working on tutorials keep that in mind

To access the new update, you’ll have to set up Tactile according to the guide, then also set up github, which will auto-update you to new versions whenever Yeti releases them.

This assumes, of course, you’re able to set up Tactile in the first place.

Or if you haven’t installed it in the first place, he’s replaced the old files in the link with the new, as he said in his post. Since you have issues believing me (or are just a troll idk)

edit: ok so (at least for now) the T program works. i was just wondering, how do i create the reinforce skill? i like the TL skill way of reinforce were i can control how many units i’d like and what they have (by changing the unitlevel.txt but i know this isn’t TL

Is there a particular reason for still usingl XNA instead of using FNA?

Well, FEXNA started on XNA… ten years ago. Yeti was thinking of switching to Mono. Maybe FNA would be better, but I’m no expert here.
