As a queer person myself, I tend to write queerness into pretty much everything I do lol So in the two romhacks I’ve released, Project Jade and Archanea Reimagined, a lot of the characters are queer. Everything has been pretty low-key as I’m working within the constraints of existing, less-than-queer stories. But when I eventually get to working on my more original romhack ideas, you can bet there’s going to queer characters all over the place lol
For Project Jade, several of the original characters I added to the story are queer. Kirin, the thief that you get in Chapter 12 is pretty openly flirtatious with guys and has several queer paired endings. (I’m particuarly fond of the support I did with him and Gilliam, which end up hella gay and surprisingly sweet)
And in Archanea Reimagined, I haven’t written any of the supports yet, but there are several paired romantic endings. Archanea is somewhat lacking in female representation, so the only wlw paired ending in it is Palla/Minerva, but I’m currently working on Book 2 of Archanea Reimagined, and since there are more female characters to work with in Book 2, plus the few new ones that I added, there will definitely be some sapphic content in the sequel! Plus, some of the characters with the romantic endings in Book 1 I plan on making “canon” in Book 2.
There’s also a mistake I made in Book 1 that accidentally caused Gordin to have the Female flag, and it got me spiraling thinking about trans!Gordin. I think I’m going to try and work that into his supports. Transmasc Gordin letsgo?

Ahhh Kirin is one of my favorite hack characters! Just realizing you did the Archanea Reimagined. I’m even more excited to play that now when supports are finished.

Aww thanks! Kirin is actually my DND character haha. I kinda plan on making him sort of my Anna, with little cameo appearances in pretty much all of my hacks. He makes a cameo in Archanea Reimagined in a secret event haha

My romhacks actually going to have a trans fem lead! The main character starts as a man and starts to realize more about his gender identity as the story goes along. While it’s not the central part of the story his (her) gender identity is a big part of her characterization and has heavy story impacts during the later parts of the game.

If you have clean/characterless versions it’d be cool to share even just for others to use when posting in this thread.
I know it wouldn’t be too hard to make essentially the same thing, since it is essentially just solid colours but, if it’s already made it saves people time, even saving just like 10 or so minutes is valuable.
