On a side note, here is an update on the next big update. All the new monster units are done and in the game on my end! Most of them will be post battle free roam recruitments so keep an eye out after battles. Monster units won’t be able to train, and only have three choices for promotion at T3. They do resurrect after every chapter as long as Lute/Knoll are alive and higher growths to compensate
I’m almost done with a very basic MyUnit Just some few tweaks and need to implement the feat system for them then will be good to go So might have the update out by tomorrow or so.
Yeah, will be interesting to see how it goes. Though they will have no plot significance and completely optional for those who don’t want a MyUnit It’s a pretty basic one to boot too haha
Eyyy, nice. I am at the Darkwoods Chapter on my end so I am almost done with my 2nd playthrough. I am just leveling up in the Lagdou Ruins before the last 2 chapters. That said, I would be able to play the next update around next week since I would be busy with work events this weekend.
Alright so a review of Syrene:
Yeah she really became a good end game unit especially if you turn her as a Sky Guard. Just need a pair-up partner for defense and she’s good to go. Since I am playing the Update wherein voices were implemented, I do not know if this issue was address but here it is; If Syrene is promoted into a War Angel, her personal weapons are empty. Such a shame really since I want to know how a War Angel plays.
A review of the Last Hope chapter:
My only complaint is that there are too many Dual Blade enemies on a fog of war map. Their pass ability usually leads to assassination runs on my axe and support units. And since their levels have been increased in the more recent updates, I shudder how annoying they’re going to be especially since they will have the Mov + 2 ability if their are level 5 and above. If they’re at level 10 and above, that’s going to be absolute hell since their crit rate is increased as well. I’ll see how it plays out on my 3rd playthrough with the Monster and Myunit update.
So yeah, excited on the next update. Who knows, you might further refine the MyUnit in the future once player feedback rolls in. Keep up the good work.
Yeah, glad to hear you like Syrene a lot more now She is definitely a lot more useful than before and be more helpful in an ironman run. That’s weird about her weapons though I’ll double check, but should hopefully already be ok on my end.
The Dual Blades have been the biggest scary enemies for a lot of people. I believe I did something that chapter where I reduced the amount of them or something, I can’t remember though I personally didn’t have any issues with them my last playthrough since my Ephraim was able to tank them pretty well
Yeah, at least once the system is in for the MyUnit, I can always refine it more down the line
Alright everyone! Here is the big update in full! Monsters and MyUnit! I’m expecting something I will have to fix with the MyUnit, especially when it comes to animation palettes, but should hopefully work as intended! Probably something will break though lol. Have fun and I’ll be taking a break until the beginning of next year If there is any game breaking bugs, let me know and I’ll at least get those fixed! Happy holidays everyone!
