Fun stuff i found randomly:

-If you talk to Sue with Wolt while Sue is an NPC, she will pilfer the Quick Bow

-Alen and Wade fight so damn hard in their support that their faces completely change to Trec and Dorothy

-Bors and Debias support conversation destroys the game…literally

Sometimes when Sin dies, he becomes a random bandit. Like during his death quote. Just posting an update. Loving the game though!

That was fixed in an earlier update the 6 jan one I think. Though I agree this is great, turning an old-style resource management FE into a modern one opens lots of possibilities.

OK, sorry for beating the almost dead horse here, but:

  • Why does Elen get Imbue, Live to Serve And Renewal? Do you not see the overkill?

  • Why is Sol both Bartre’s personal skill AND a class skill for Heroes?

  • Why is Miracle the personal of BOTH Fae and Lugh AND one of the class skill for Bishops?

  • Why is Gamble, Geiss’ personal skill AND a class skill for Brigands? Not only is the class extremely inaccurate already, but I’m pretty sure enemy units can’t actually trigger it.

  • Suggestion: Replace Gonzalez’s Death Blow for Heavy Strikes. It works better as a scaling tool and fits his theme a bit better.

  • Suggestion: If you are going to design a unique class for Raigh, then you may want to consider revamping his skill spread.

  • Report: I believe Thea’s Skybreaker skill doesn’t work.

  • Report: Vengeance Skill seems to be bugged.

Fixes apart this project is almost done, have you ever given a though to do the same thing with FE7? It would be perfect to have that one to with a tower and all that, though the routes might be a pain in the ass to do.

This happens in other supports as well. In Klein and Thea’s the latter turned into Clarine.

Also, I’m having issues in Chapter 20x. The walls sometime regenerate when I attack them with different characters (I’ve had to use Brave Weapons to bring them down), and the Seize command doesn’t appear when Roy reaches the throne.

EDIT: I almost forgot, during Narcian’s battle conversations the character’s mouths glitch quite often.

Thank you for the reports. I’ve fixed some of the issues you listed with the latest patch. You can download it in the above post. I explained in the thread and post as to how to continue your save file even if it’s from an updated ROM

Wait, how will this effect saves that already recruited Debias?

Or will nothing happen. This also make me wonder about Galle and the others.

Also won’t the skills not change properly due to how they are gained with a new patch?

Debias will still be playable in your save file since he’s already been recruited. The only thing I’ve removed is the actual recruitment process. Galle is still playable. Also, I believe skills won’t update unless you start a new game. Either way, it’s best to play with the latest update as it fixes the softlock issues.
@jackofblades1991 When you “send home” units, they’re treated as if they never existed. So they won’t show at the character endings something like, "died in chapter 18x. It’ll just skip over their character endings.

yeah, I’m actually checking to see what skills got messed with compaired to what I already had on who I had.

only other question i had is with the party limit, the units “sent home” are still treated as alive right?

I do my damnedest to keep everyone alive though minimal resets soley because seeing “died at blank” makes me feel like I failed.

as far as softlocks, atleast I was only at 8X

edit: good to know, helps aliviate the ol’ sanity.

Could you explain what was fixed/changed as there’s nothing new on the update list?

  • Three. Where did you get the pop up for the skill procs? That seems awesome for clarity purposes.

This has more recently (although already over a year ago) been added to SkillSystem. Speaking of SkillSystem, I can’t find credits to SkillSystem in the OP.

Anything planned for the dancer and bard classes? Since you get both it might be a good idea to be able to promote them though a fake promotion with with better stats and the same skills is also ok.

Neverminding the many little deviations that anyone who digs into this may or may not want to undo, there’s one major thing I think we’re all forgetting: the lack of Idunn’s real battle animation. There’s no matching that atmosphere and build up, even in the other GBA final bosses. I haven’t even seen anyone replicate the three randomized animations that can occur for any standard attack!

But for all your other points… Yeah, I can’t disagree. This is indeed a big deal by all other accounts.

Hey, really enjoyed the game, but kinda reached a snag at chapter 20 where I had sent back Zealot cause I never used him and it treated him dead. Is there any way to either warn the player not to do this or rectify that if you send him home?

Final chapter: I accidentally killed Idunn with a critical hit from Lilina, yet I still got the “good” ending that’s supposed to only appear when she’s finished with the Binding Blade.

EDIT: Also, the support viewer doesn’t show all characters or conversations as it should, only the percentage unlocked. I remember this also happening on Sacred Echoes before the full 1.0 release.

I was actually thinking this myself when implementing the “Send Home” feature. I’ve already set it so some characters can’t participate in the “Send Home” chapters, so I can do the same for Zelot / Juno / Zeiss / Melady since those are the last four you need alive in order to get the true ending. I’ll add it in a new patch ASAP.

Also, there is no way to rectify this. I apologize.

So~ Been playing this for a while and I’m enjoying it! Quite a bit too, as I like hacks with certain amount of rewrites to the original stories and stuff.

That said tho, I just cleared chapter 16x and got Aureole as expected but… didn’t get the staff, I don’t know if I was meant to receive it there or at all so I’m just continuing with the playthrough. Got a weird bug the first time I loaded the chapter too, one of the two mages with Bolting tomes actually turned into a blue unit (during battle prep) and had weird stats (everything capped by nothing added for hit ratios/dmg), the game softlocked after I was checking out enemy equipment.

It didn’t happen the next times I loaded the chapter however so I don’t know how it happened.
