Merlinus can’t rescue.
That was how it was in the original FE6.
I have not played base FE6 in a long time but could have sworn Merlinus could always rescue drop people.
He always had 0 aid. Hacks such as Project Ember changed this, I believe, but this is supposed to be a 1:1 port.

Yeah if it was not in vanilla FE6 then it is fine not to be here. I mostly have played Project Ember so forgot that he could not do it in vanilla.
Sadly I started an ironman and Dieck got killed because I thought Merlinus could rescue ![]()
The animations use for Fae reverting, I cannot find them on the FE-repo and they are different from vanilla fe6 (which nobody seems to have). If I wanted to use the anims, who should I credit?
This is not something from the port, this is something that exists in vanilla FE8, for some reason. And it doesn’t cause any problems (? I say this but I don’t know if removing these parts does anything)
I think their point is that it should be +/- 10 hit to match FE6.

Odd question, from what I’ve read split promotions are gone, but are the classes still in the game if someone wanted to add them back in?
Is this editable in FEB to add SkillSys? And if so, would one be allowed to make their own hack?
