You can make it so that the energy ring increases both strength and magic so that it acts like it normally does for magic units.
I do question why the str/mag split was even put in. Why add something in a port meant to be a 1:1 remake? Is it easy to remove?
If someone is more likely to use a str/mag split, they probably could have added it in themselves.

The ‘Binding Blade Remake’ contains a lot of fan-content, such as additional story scenes, branching promotions, additional/new bosses, and more.
This port is 99% a straight port of OG Binding Blade but in the FE8 engine.
I ran into a bug, I’m playing on vba and I just finished the prologue and during chapter 1 after introducing everything on the map the game freezes
I ran into bug. I am just play prologue finish then during chapter 1 become freeze.
It does sit on a black screen for a bit, but thats because its trying to load the menus for Casual mode, Fix Growths etc. You just need to wait a while on the black screen and eventually those menus will pop up.
The issue is that MNC3 is used instead of LOMA. I reported how to fix it but I guess he just didn’t have time to update it yet. Open the ROM in FEBuilder, press F5 to open the ROM with the debugger attached, play the game up to the point where it freezes, click on the “Event” tab and you’ll see that the game is stuck on a MNC3 command. Double-click it and replace it with LOMA to the same chapter to fix it yourself if you want to.
Regarding the issue with the Orion’s Bolt, I also reported how to fix it, but the problem is that whenever someone extends the list of classes that promote with the Orion’s Bolt, they’ll have to do the same process, so it’s something that’ll require a more general explanation which I’ll post it when I can. For current class list, to fix that what you have to do is go into the hex editor, JUMP to B367C4
, and paste B4 84 44 09

Bug report: Due to the installation of the skill system, Swordmasters and Berserkers don’t have their natural 15+ crit. You need to set them through skills.
Missing animation report: Paladins don’t have an animation for using axes.

He used Github Skillsystems instead of Custom Build. So now he can’t change it

Only for a select few. Mostly the classes that weren’t originally in vanilla fe8 that I had to import.

This is amazing. Me and my friend have been hating on that FE6 “Remake” romhack for so long. Glad someone actually ported FE6 to FE8 without adding and changing everything. Hopefully stuff like Project Ember can be ported onto this.
