You thought i was done with myrmidons ?
Nope, i have more in store.
There goes the “regular myrmidons, but a bit smoother”… gosh this name suck… I’ll go with “Leo’s style myrms” i guess.
This animation was always pretty cool, and I really like the idea of having more unique animations for generic units. So I decided to make it a bit spicier. The changes I’ve made are as follows:
Polished up the frames to have more consistency with each other, and fix some errors.
Created some spins for a new melee critical. Because it isn’t a GBA crit without some speeen.
Edited the melee axe dodge so it no longer uses the handaxe.
Ported over Hector’s handaxe crit.
Ported over Zane’s Hector Sword animation for more weapon variety. It also has the new spin crit.
Don’t mind me, just gonna dump some stuff I’ve done recently…
Aruka and Kenpuhu have done some sweet unique animations for a few of the playable characters from FE8. Unfortunately, they were lacking unarmed variations. Therefore, I made and scripted some.

Aside from these, I’m also using Seal’s Valkyrie L’Arachel on my hack, but there were wrong palettes for her hair in the staff animation, which I corrected.
That’s it for animations. But have some free Myrmidon Joshua map sprites just because he’s a cool dude.
I converted the Regi Trio from Emerald (Regice, Regirock, Registeel) into simple battle animations. Enjoy, I guess, but be sure to set projectiles for whatever weapons they’re holding.
No spins this time. I did do something else, though.
Firstly, the Swordmaster Marisa animation, made by Aruka & Kenpuhu. It really bothered me that the sword she slashes with is different from the sword she points to the sky when using a ranged attack. So I fixed that.
And last but not least, I did a repalette. Specifically, I repaletted Knight Lord Roy, recoloring Durandal to it’s canon red crossguard color. It was tedious. Very tedious.

Edit 2: Eh, might as well add one more. I decided to edit a Celica animation for me to use in a hack I’m making. Here, you all can use it if you want. NOTE: THE CRITICAL HIT PART HAS A CAST SPELL ANIMATION CODE INSTEAD OF A HIT CODE, SINCE I CHOSE TO HAVE THE THUNDER SPELL PLAY FOR THE CRITICAL HIT. IF YOU DO NOT WANT TO HAVE A SPELL ANIMATION PLAY FOR IT, REPLACE IT WITH A HIT CODE
If you use any of these animations, credit the original creators, as they created the animations. I merely edited them.
Some minor edits of vanilla class cards that I figured I might as well share. Sword Nomad, Staff Shaman and a hoodless variant (credit to RobertFPY’s hoodless shaman).
I reworked @cybaster’s Ashnard Animation gifs so that I can use them in my battle animations.

Hawkzerker w/ Bow, based on the Barbarian animation. This should round out the Hawkzerker physical animations. Thanks to wan for pointing out a few issues with the sprite. Comes with alt colors, just in case.
I also fixed the Flail Knight animation, which had several disordered frames. Oirginal shown below. I also added a bunch of alt colors for all 4 teams, which are all based around the cape’s color.
EDIT: I’m also using this post as an excuse to link to My FEU thread, upon which I’ve not only posted this, but I’ve also remade every Thracia map 1 for 1, as perfectly accurate as I can. I fully recommend checking it out, as they’re all F2U and F2E.

First the fighter 2.0 it’s just a regular fighter but a bit resized too make the promotion option as a hero more logical size-wise, it’s also a bit smoother.

For sake of accuracy to the other Hawkzerker animations with a pauldron on his not dominant arm, now he has one, so he fits right in.
If there was ever a class to create the Master of Arms from Fates, this might be the perfect source. I’d do a female model, but I find giving a radically different body to a model a much bigger challenge than mostly just hair like with Ephraim.
