You can also sort the projects category by “top all time” if you like. I’m not exactly sure what it sorts by, but it does show a number of big, custom projects.
Both of the previous recommendations are much more thorough. But I can give some personal recommendations. Bandit emblem and Iron Emblem I found to be quite fun. I also have my own ROM hack, though it’s kinda rough around the edges.
