Hello! I would like to be a playtester for Project Baldr! Genealogy of the Holy War is my favorite Fire Emblem! My discord is quinnthetactician if that’s easier to reach me ^^

If there’s still room for playtesting, I’d like to try it as well. I’ve got Discord if it’s possible to contact through there.

Play testing recruitment is on hold until Chapter 4 is finished.

@Eden I would be interested in working as a play tester once Chapter 4 is finished. My email is available if folks are interested.

I just wanted to add my own thoughts to this thread in support of the project. As a fan of FE4 and Jugdral, I’m really excited about this and sincerely hope the project will eventually see the light of day. Take all the time you need, development team. It looks great. I’m hopeful that one day we’ll receive a proper FE4 remake for the Nintendo Switch 2! :sun:

Right now, things are moving a bit slow because of the holiday, but work on the project picked up quite a bit at the start of December while we tried to get as much done before the holiday. Good progress has been made on refining chapters 2 and 3.

So far in this eventful history of GBA romhacking & hackromming, many have tried to achieve the searing temperatures and smokey taste of the famed and exquisite barbeque, (Well, someone has done the after-party Genealogy of the Mini War: A miniature remake of FE4's 2nd generation but mentioning other projects? We can’t do that! My ego can’t take this slight!), but often the results were sadly too burnt or too raw. One might begin to ask, what are the secrets to cook such a delightful meal? How can one acquire all the ingredients for a steak braided with love? This video will teach you. https://youtu.be/R1NSWP8Rtj4?feature=shared

Of course, a video tutorial alone cannot teach a man by its own, so one might have to await the five star meal prepared by chefs who work in conjunction with each other or those who reheat the same recipe to have a live example served up. Food’s nothing without the experience, afterall.

and oh yeah, gen 1 is done, await further news

“Damn, no more updates after that, huh? I knew that last line was a joke.”

So! The rumors are infact, true (or false, depending where you get your spill from) Gen 1 has reached the End of an Era stage, with Gen 2 soon to follow as our team is hard as work making sure all the maps have every last bit of polish needed…

And that’s where YOU come in! You can help this process with the one thing every visual artform anchors from; Music!

Currently, we are missing A LOT of music from the original game that make or break very emotional scenes, and we can’t let it stay that way forever. In response to this issue, we compiled every missing track in the remake, that way you know what to tackle if you so desire!

Download link???

I can convert the .sfc files for the SNES (which I have on hand) into workable .s files, with a basic loop. However, I’m pretty new to music in general so I can’t really polish the songs into a ready state. If you can get someone else on polishing/quality assurance duty, then I don’t mind getting the .s files for you.
