Add a header to the rom and it must be a .smc rom
Thanks! i was using a sfc rom ![]()
Thank you for the report. I’ll fix it in the next version.
Updated. Includes some text revisions, and proofreading of the English in Chapter 4 (by Plague).
Regarding the issue pointed out in the final chapter where proper nouns were not output in dialogue, I could not resolve it in the end, so I have changed the text to omit the proper nouns in those sections. Consequently, the phrasing may now appear somewhat vague. I appreciate your understanding.
Updated. I’ve added the function that allows you to unmerge items that have been merged beyond their limit (the maximum quantity) for the Take processing in the depository. When that item is taken out, the unit receives one quantity of the item and the quantity in the depository decreases by one. This only applies to rings, proofs and weapon manuals.
This update also includes text revisions from the proofreading of Chapter 4x (by Plague).
Who is Rilke? I was reading the secret units guide, and a character called “Rilke” was mentioned as joining in Chpater 16A. Haven’t heard of any such character, and they later recruit Reinhardt by talk. Can you explain who Rilke is?
I explained it here. Please take a look.
Whenever I take Lockpicks out of the supply it only takes 1 and not the entire stack. Is this a bug? Anyway I can fix it? Edit: Same goes for Vulnerarys.
A small question: Is it possible to increase supply size? Or is that not possible due to memory limitations?
Late game the 128 limit becomes a bit too much to micromanage, so if convoy size increases i think that could help quite a bit with convoy chore ![]()
Thank you for the report. I will fix this in the next update.
Raising the supply cap is difficult, I have decided to make that depositories will automatically merge and unmerge all items with a maximum quantity of 1 (Pure Water, S Drink, etc). You’ll have about 10 to 20 empty slots, I guess. This will appear in the next update.
Thanks.
Word is missing in the dialouge after Chapter 7.
So far I love the hack. I like the stat cap increase, new characters, etc.
Only thing thats a bit rough is the english translation, but I can live with that.
Also I reallized how to merge Lockpicks now. Didn’t know I can press L.
Is it possible to expand this to vulns, low use staves (like Warp and physic) and weapons (Siege tomes for example) as well?
I have responded to this topic in the past regarding this matter. In conclusion, this issue remains because making corrections is difficult.
If you see this in an environment other than those mentioned above, please let me know.
I have no plans to implement a function that would, for example, a quantity of three items group up to a single item with a quantity of 99 into a depository and allow the item to be split into unit possessions, each with a quantity of three. Since no one can know how players want to handle these items, no matter how I implement it, someone will be dissatisfied. Since handling items with a maximum quantity of one is straightforward, I decided to implement the change.
And I have no plans to change the maximum number of items that can be brought onto the battlefield because doing so would affect gameplay. However, I may modify the system so that you can merge three items with two uses remaining/three maximum quantity into two items with three uses each (but this cannot be implemented immediately).
If you see this in an environment other than those mentioned above, please let me know.
I use Snes9X on Windows not Android. It’s an older version though, I try the newest version now. ![]()
Thank you for letting me know. The following image shows my test results.
It may be related to the state of the game (memory etc.) rather than the emulator version. If we could identify the specific conditions under which this occurs, I might be able to address the issue, but for now, there’s nothing I can do. Sorry.
Updated. In the depository, all of items with a maximum quantity of 1 (Pure Water, S Drink, etc.) will now automatically merge beyond their limit.
- When those items are received from the depository, they will be unmerged and extracted as a single item with a quantity of one each time to the unit’s possessions (cannot be merged in units’ possessions).
- When giving those items to the depository, their quantities will accumulate into a single item slot (cannot be unmerged in the depository).
I’ve also made several changes to reduce the difficulty of Normal Mode. These changes fixed the difficulty spike that starts in Chapter 21. This spike was intended as a necessary measure to accommodate the player party’s rapidly increasing power. For most players who have progressed appropriately up to this point, it shouldn’t be a problem, but since it could break the spirit of some players who’ve barely made it this far, I decided to change it.
- Enemy command ★ values are now halved in Normal Mode. (Since the reduction is applied mechanically, the number of ★ displayed on the Status screen may not match the sum of each unit’s displayed stat value. The number of ★ shown on the Status screen represents the actual number that affects the calc.)
- Enemy and NPC Vigor ★ values are now uniformly treated as 0 in Normal Mode.
- The staff brought by Saffy in Chapter 2x or 13 of Normal Mode has been changed to Hammerne. If you obtain a second Hammerne, you can use it for the first one. Play however you like.
- These changes do not affect Hard and Maniac modes, which remain as they were in previous versions.
Regarding the above post, my words may have seemed insufficient and as if I was dismissive the issue, but I’ve taken every conceivable measure without success, sadly there’s nothing more I can do at this point. Of course I’d like to fix it if I could, so if anyone figures out the conditions for this bug to occur or a way to fix it, please let me know.
This superb. Im just finished the game 1st. I play it again want to diff route. Btw it not that important but still it bothering me, Female bishop map sprite can u change it??
Hello,
I have been following this project for a long time and it’s incredible to see all the progress that has been made. This mod brings Thracia 776 to life and adds depth while staying faithful to its spirit.
I noticed that while the English translation has improved significantly since I first played, there may still be opportunities to make the dialogue feel more natural and engaging. I would love to contribute by submitting my own polished version of the English dialogue at various parts.
I see that the project is marked [Complete]; however, if you’re open to it, I would be happy to discuss ways I could contribute to the translation.
No matter what, thank you for all the amazing work on this project.
