How about light cavalier and heavy cavalier ?
Light cavalier would be able to wield Swords and Lances.
Heavy cavalier would be able to wield Lances and Axes.

I was thinking on Swords because that would allow Sinclair to use Phorde’s Steel Sword, but I guess that would be a more fitting option, taking into account their promotion’s base weapon ranks.
I wouldn’t mind either way.
…but having an excuse to steal that steel sword, hehehe…
Kinda thinking of a ‘slight’ revamp of sorts for Shiraha while still keeping the evilness of backfires, somethingsomething Rabbit’s Foot skill being a bit like Lucktaker or something, replacing the lucky sword with a more… weighty sword of some sort (More weight and might sort of thing, being whacked with heavy things hurts after all!), or just redistributing a few growths to take some from luck and into other stuff. I dunno right now.
Lenna I’ve zero ideas for. Franz please get better base stats. ;_;
Edit~
Actually I wonder how HP drains interact with Devil reversals. Something could perhaps be done with that if so. I’ll need to try to test it out when I’ve more time, hehehe.
…that might be pointless to think about since I doubt Sol or Aether are free though. Drat.
Oh yea i’d like to add, it’s funny how many magic units are in the rom, while we have like 1 bow cav and no thieves, it’s kinda funny
Glad I caught that early on with and submitted Ortega, speaking of which.
Glad you like him, again, just felt that submitting a unit who can be a thief without having to deal with rogues crap STR cap was a nice idea.
Though after mulling it around if you wanted to Someone, you could give him steal+ instead of normal steal since he has actual Con to make use of it or maybe seal defense or resistance to help set up kills early on.
Random side note: I meant to say this awhile ago but breakable doors reminded my of a goofy Axe I thought up a year ago, its an axe but also a lockpick/master-key called the Lockbreaker to imply you just smash the locks open/off.
I’ve tested with Sol and apparently it just doesn’t trigger on backfires. On the other hand, weapons with Nosferatu effect seem to deal 0 damage on backfire.
Here’s some more funny stuff: Rune route has 3 extra summoners, and Tharja route has no unit with Nihil.
I kinda said that I wouldn’t allow characters to learn somebody else’s personal skill via level up (and Pharmos has Steal+ as personal).
I think I’ll add the seals. At which level should Ortega learn them?
Oh right, forgot about that one.
Uh, how about level 12 for defense and level 16 for resistance, if those seem akward or conflict with something just do the usual 5-level separation.
I only suggest them since otherwise (based on some of the screneshots I’ve seen since I’m waiting to play this for now) only two skills seemed like too few but I hadn’t thought about it at the time since submissions hadn’t really done more then a few skills yet, but with how some later ones have some 5-6 skills I figured some seals wouldn’t be a bad idea while still fitting my original idea of “just a useful guy to deploy” kind of unit. Plus since they apply whenever he’s attacked he’ll certainly spread them around more then you’d think.
I don’t know why I think like it but I find it more amusing to think up characters who are at least handy to have while not broken. I’d also like to think his existence helped since you didn’t have to put a bunch of droppable chest keys everywhere.
@Someone I put the steel lance in there for “balance” but now I remember its a PME. Make it a brave lance for funni
@Someone oh yea you might wanna buff the extra units we get, i think it was emerald the sorcerer and the one falcon knight in rune’s route, their bases are very bad for prepromotes
I added two skills because there were two more skills BK could’ve gained. Since, you’re adding seal skills I’m pretty sure enemy might have it too. So, full metal body suits Black Knight.
Side Note : Can you make Eclipse skill ? Like some combination of Astra and Luna. Can you make it work ? If you can, then please change the Black luna skill to Eclipse.
Sounds a bit boring to have either then, drat. Thanks!
Stupid idea for Lenna ‘buff’ right now is just a personal weapon. ‘Parry Spear’ or… something. +3 DEF/SPD. My brain is indeed fried.
he needs HP, just HP really
Quite indeed! I’ve never liked weapons that increase HP though, they’re just really weird and give me weird memories of stat inflation in old hacks.
Some more random thoughts about some units:
With how many enemy axe users there are in the early game, I think that personal weapon could use a reaver effect.
That is definitely some kind of luck.
I’m sure Marisa’s bad stats don’t help Braddok at all.
anybody used delilah yet? I thought she’d be in Rune’s route and didn’t get her lmao, which sucks cause I think she could be an interesting mix unit
did the poison master skill do anything substantial perchance?
It allows her personal weapon to inflict more damage than Flux. The extra accuracy is also appreciated. That being said, since at that point you have mages with higher Mag and AS, it is not really that amazing. I didn’t really try to use a sword, since most of the enemies around her had higher Def than Res, and the ones that didn’t had ranged weapons.
I’m going to give my opinion on my own units cause I want to.
Rune: 4/5 only thing she could struggle with is early on, but once she snowballs she is really good.
Hide: 5/5 He is a mounted dancer your welcome.
Tuli: 6/5 Reapeat everything said about rune and crank it up to 11. She has amazing growths and the ability to dance, your welcome.
Alora: 3/5 She is decent and is a good replacement for exia if they have died somehow
Xilian: 1/5 Why would you use him there are 3 better myrms in this PME.
