What is one thing about your project that you feel has had a lot of/the most time and effort put into it?
iamw05: making the event engine beg for mercy
What was/is the most enjoyable part of working on your project?
iamw05: Writing dialogue and fleshing out the characters & world.
What is one thing about your project that you wanted to talk about that you didn’t have the opportunity to include in your video?
iamw05: Any of the writing, really. Event antics are fun, but I’m more proud my character writing.
What inspired your project’s creation?
iamw05: xenogears
What got you into making Fire Emblem fan games?
iamw05: I wanted to take the gameplay-story integration of Thracia and crank it up to 11 to make something memorable. The mechanics of FE can do a lot of show-don’t-tell that doesn’t get used enough outside of Judgral. I’m also a big fan of forcing systems to do things they were never designed to do, so I found the event system to be a very entertaining challenge to tackle.

What is one thing you have learned from working on your project?
iamw05: As long as the writing is good, people are fine with being held hostage in almost half-hour long cutscenes.
