Hey everyone,
Tylah Emblem has been out for almost six months now, but I’ve never posted it on this forum. This is, among other reasons, largely because it used several assets found online which were not properly credited. Given that Tylah Emblem was originally a project that was only meant to be shared between a couple of friends, this was rather fine until I was pestered by said friends enough to post it for the world to see. So, all in all, I give you:
TYLAH EMBLEM: THE JACOB IS THERE TOO DIRECTOR’S CUT
Overall, the director’s cut has practically no changes except for replacing all fanart (and one fantrack) assets with different artwork/music.
Tylah Emblem is a short, six chapter long, FE8 Base fire emblem fangame about the so called “Tylah” and “Jacob” and their exploits in the realm of, uh, other commercial titles? Well, really Tylah Emblem is primarily a conflux of inside jokes and references to niche media titles. Not even the people that the jokes were made for understood them all, so the likelihood anyone else is is probably astonishingly low! So, why post this hack at all, then?
So many of the inside jokes that me and my friends have discovered over the years have largely come from silly to downright stupid videos, indie games, and fangames. Many of these contain references that are clearly themselves inside jokes that we cannot even begin to understand the true meaning of (See: Halos Dustbelief “JUNDATALE”), and yet we laugh anyways. What I mean to say is, I hope that some sorry sap decides to play this game and understand little to any of it. If in the process they happen to enjoy it, that’s wonderful.
This hack contains mild to moderate spoilers for Umineko: When They Cry (If you care, don’t read Rosa or Orange Erika’s ending card dialogue) and Sword Art Online: Abridged. Both are very good series, so you should check them out 
There’s recommended pre-hack promotional material in the Links section, but you don’t by any means HAVE to watch it.
I wanted to get this hack posted here since “Tylah Emblem 1.5” and subsequently Tylah Emblem 2 are in development now. We’ll see how long that takes!
