Thracia maps needed for the bastard child of FE5 and FE8

Exactly what i said, i need help for maps for a PME that i’m going to make where i put FE5’s maps into FE8’s engine. This will not go unrewarded as i will make
A. Art of anything you want (as long as it doesnt violate FEU’s policy)
B. portraits of any character (as long as it doesnt violate FEU’s policy)
C. reskins of animations with a small amount of frames (as long as it doesnt violate feu policies)

Please provide the .tmx file through a external file hosting service, or i’ll have to recreate the map in FEbuilder manually.

I’m not sure how to upload the .tmx files for maps onto FEU

I walled up the top of the map that is normally a void. Before the Kia room opens just wall the entire upper section save for the secret shop area.

GBA doesn’t have half-pillars, or pillars straddled between two tiles, so they were converted into normal pillars. In FE5 the pillars in the Throne Room also act as untraversible walls, but here they are normal pillars.

i think you could use a external file hosting software for uploading .tmx files , also what art do you want for your maps?

Zoramine's Bucket Of Many Random Things already has every map in Thracia (I think?) recreated in a FE8 tileset. Check the “Mapping Dump Link” section.

ah, thanks, but i think i’d try to recreate them in my own style/get help and do things for people and fall back on this as a last resort, if i really cant do it anymore
Yes, this is quite hubristic of me, and i’ll probally need these maps.

Here’s Chapter 13.

There are a couple of noticable differences between this version and the original map.

  • Some of the forest tile locations might be a tad inaccurate due to how they are in Thracia tilesets.
  • I had to get creative with the 2 tile high cliffs since the base plains tileset doesn’t have those.
  • The paths of lighter grass that go all around the map are mostly unplaced.
  • Also had to get creative with the end of the river, so units can walk on that tile. Not exactly important.

let me see the frame counts and ill get back to you, im kind of bad at time managment. Can it be sword/stave hooded anims only?

i would like to apologise for not doing it, because the regular knife attack has 90 frames. I found it hard to line up the hood without it looking kind of janky.
