Darr’s 2020 Retrospective

  • Just released Ternon
  • Recovered from the rush of Ternon release
  • Events occurred that killed Ternon
  • Worked on MAFC 4
  • Created The Akaneian Mafia
  • April Fools rumbled, I cleaned up FE12 for it
  • Translated the Biraku Emblem menus
  • Floated off and played some Paradox strategy
  • Poked at but didn’t actually release a mod
  • Played a pile of old RPGs
  • Revived Arch of Coups
  • FE12’s tenth anniversary happened
  • Old Mystery got a proper release
  • Ported my first chapter, Barhara Revisited, to FE8
  • Translated BSFE, the final FE game needing translation
  • Hacked out one annoying check from Dragon Warrior 3
  • Procrastinated before FEE3
  • Submitted Arch of Coups, Old Mystery, and BSFE to FEE3
  • Poked at some Cutting Room Floor pages
  • Entered college and didn’t hack much
  • Spared two hours for the One Hour Blitz
  • Won the Most Confusing award
  • Started to build a MAFC 5 entry

Happy new year! Being the Under, this is meme land. Here’s the 2021 plan:

  • Watch everyone figure out the replacement for the now-dead 2020 memes
  • Procrastinate from my hack
  • Try to revive a zombie project, create five new ones in the process
  • Will I have the same FEE3 project two years in a row?
