The Soundroom: Music Repository

Here’s a direct port of an extremely unknown song from this very obscure J-RPG for the
Game Boy Advance called Golden Sun.

Pokémon Ranger: Guardian Signs - Literally anything

Uh i have a slight issue with the Pokemon Ranger - Guardian Signs Pincher Admin Battle theme.
I imported it to listen to it and when it loops one of the instruments enters a infinite high note
and it keeps adding onto it more and more every loop. Just giving you a heads up.

It’s an easy fix, I could do it myself if @Sme doesn’t mind.

I legit forgot that Arceus was in the multiplayer mode, guess I never knew because I couldn’t get past the ice area ;_;

Holy hell

Trust me, it gets worse. I remember there was one level where you had to capture about 4 specific pokemon and then the boss in, like, 120 seconds. Sure, you get some time extenders, but considering every boss takes at least two minutes and deals ridiculous damage I never even got past it.
Screw Dark Souls, Pokemon Ranger 3’s multiplayer campagin was HELL :,v.

Edit: For reference, the clear time for a regular map is ~6-10 minutes.
You only have two for this one. RIP ;_;

I have a question. What’s the best way to record previews of your tracks? For my previous upload I just used OBS to record and uploaded it to YouTube, but I can’t say I’m truly proud of the result. I have made a bunch of new tracks since then and I have yet to record some previews for showcasing them.

The way I do it is that I use Audacity to record it and then upload it to dropbox/mediafire/something that allows for preview. But I’m almost sure there are better ways : /

The OBS method is nice if you also want to show video (gotta show off those coloured bars in the soundroom), but there’s a lot of loops to jump through.

Recording with Audacity is also a solid method.

Some emulators can record audio. In VBA, Tools -> Record -> Start Sound Recording… then when you’re done Tools -> Record -> Stop Sound Recording.

I personally use either gba music studio recorded by OBS, or mGBA 0.8.1 recording feature (it’s flawless in this version, unlike the earlier ones).

Time to get this stuff dumped out.

Langrisser - Shop
Ogre Battle 64 - Decisive (who had the bright idea to make this the generic enemy battle theme?)
Ogre Battle March of the Black Queen - Do or Die
Shining Force - Circus Battle
Ys I - Holders of Power

Music for the music god! MIDIs for the MIDI throne! Let’s keep building the repo as big as we possibly can!

It has been 2 months since my last upload, so I’ve decided to upload everything I’ve made since then at once. Once again, these are all FE4 and 5 tracks. I hope someone has a use for them. Click on a specific track for a preview, download link is down below.

First, I swapped one instrument since my previous upload of the following track.
FE4 - Light and Dark (V2)

The following tracks use midis I ripped myself.
FE4 - Army of Agustria
FE4 - Beloved One
FE4 - Thoughts Going Around
FE4 - Lover 4

The next tracks use midis from angelfire.com for FE4 and nehcdnr.ngamer.net for FE5.
FE4 - Glory to Grannvale
FE4 - Dance in the Skies
FE4 - Across the Desert
FE4 - For Whose Sake
FE4 - Army of Thracia
FE4 - Army of Grannvale 1
FE4 - Army of Grannvale 2
FE4 - Vs Julius
FE4 - Victory 1
FE4 - Enemy Message 3
FE4 - Emperor Arvis
FE4 - Conversation 1
FE4 - Victory is Near!
FE4 - Part 1 Map Medley
FE5 - Threat Approaching ~ Final Chapter
FE5 - Thracia
FE5 - Conquest
FE5 - Results

I doubt this is useful to anyone, but I also did the castle captured SE from FE4.
FE4 - Castle Captured

Get them here.

Hey! I added some themes into my folder.
FE4 - Edge of Despair - Smash Arrangement.
Final Fantasy 13 - Desperate Struggle (Midi from VGMusic, I did some instrument swapping).

Got bored and added:

  • Pokemon XD Gale of Dankness: Miror B Battle Theme
  • Tales of Symphonia 2: The More That I Try (yes, it was in TLP). Also, I made the main instrument a trombone, if you want it to be closer to the OG version, swap it for 46 (I guess?)

Edit:

We’re up to 469 non-custom tracks, 18 custom ones, totaling for 487. Whoever breaks 500 gets exposure coin.
