Now that the past topic has been COMPLETED, lets discuss the supposed FE game tommorow.
What are your aspirations for it? Some are still hoping for an FE4 Remake, others point towards an FE7 Remake, and there’s me hoping for an Engage 2.

Animal Crossing never really clicked for me. Maybe some Fire Emblem branding/theming could change that.

There was a real missed opportunity with them that was sorely missed. Big fan of Lloyd’s character.

honestly 3h already needs a remake if only for the opportunity to conduct a full story rewrite. it had the makings of a great “the church is evil” story that the writers didn’t want to commit to and they ran off and rehashed an overused piece of historical fiction for the umbillionth time and now I have a grudge against Romance of the Three Kingdoms.
I want all the untranslated old fe roms to be compiled into one game, please

Now that the New fire emblem game was announced, what are our thoughts?
Pessimistic.
This really isn’t the period of Fodlan I was particularly interested in, as someone who feels the Nabatean-Agarthan conflict is something of a weight holding the continent back from realizing it’s full potential, and I don’t see any particular indication that it’ll be on the console I actually have. At least the gimmick isn’t a fucking wedding ring this time, though.

I love that all the characters shown are distinct from anything we’ve seen thus far (ostrich rider, teleporting myrmidon, guitarist summoning demonic beasts) and I hope they lean deeper into it and forgo as many gameplay tropes as possible.
