Can’t use Latona for some reason.

I’ve finished the hack. I appreciate the fact that the status staves don’t work and I can promote my units whenever I want. Never thought I’d play a game where I didn’t have enough money to spam Javelins 90% of the time.

Simple description is it is a rebalance hack of Fe6 with thracia’s (bs) mechanics

Here are some changes:
-max hit rate is 99
-thracia fog
-vulneries now fully heal
-15 poison damage
-hard mode bonuses rebalanced
-movement cost indoors for mounted units
-some thracian items
-99 hit staves (sadly doesn’t work needs asm)
-status staves 5 uses
-physic 20 uses
-promoted early game bosses
-stat boosting items now 3 uses with +1 boost
-promotional items changed to knights proof
-hm enemy bonus nerfed
-troubadors gain E swords
-Valkyrie gain C swords
-shamans gain E anima
-druids gain C anima
-sages gain C light
-roy light brand prf
-2 ranged dragonstones
-divinestone 40 uses
-rogue class
-general sword
-brown haired roy

Updating important things i forgot
Things I forgot:
-Poleaxe, Rapier, Knight Killer now effective to other horse units
-Tornado effective to fliers
-Lugh starts with a wind tome
-merlinus also has movement penalty indoors

This sounds like hell, but like the fun kind of hell :joy:

I highly recommend playing on normal. It’s literally hell especially in the early game with thrones having 10 defense wtf thracia. Even with buffed Rutger now fails to kill bosses but he’s still a decent army killer. You only rely on high strength units like dieck with effectiveness weapons and pray for an rng abused crit. Currently at 8x now the ultra instinct henning’s gonna ruin my entire day and he’s gonna be worse than gomez.

Why’d you revert them back? A lot of appeal was early bosses being promoted

FE6 but good (no).

about to if i can possibly insert fe8’s tequila capture system into fe6 but not sure yet. There are still mechanics that are missisng like staff missing, global staff range, super canto, stealing weapons. They appear to be just simple asm but i could force myself to learn so that i can add these cool mechanics.

early game bosses are already a huge threat in normal and they’re gonna be straight up unbeatable in hard. There’s this Dory a complete asshole berserker who wields a killer axe with over 60 crit so even if you try to engage him with dieck there’s still a higher chance of death on his attack turn. I mean you’re experiencing that already in early game with weak units and thracia doesn’t even have crazy bosses like this it’s just way too much. I didn’t wanna change their stats since that would change fe6 entirely. If y’all pure masochists then i could make them promote again.

You could keep them promoted, but with their vanilla stats.

update:

  • all bosses are promoted since people really want them
  • decreased wind tome price
  • some enemy reinforcement turns are decreased by 2
