Pondering and thinking a what if of FE4 SNES decompilating and maker

Eh, I suppose I should just say something on here to pass my time of the night. So perhaps a shower thought.

I had a thought but maybe silly in the head, but a few hours ago, had a ponder of a Fire Emblem 4. Being a maker and while also a decompiled version to PC.

very playable, stays faithful, and also supposedly having a 4:3 & 16:9 Screen version and 720, 1080 and 4K or have it like how SNES Emulators do it. While with buttons Prompts for Xbox, PS, Switch. And have all the bugs fixed up. Like how some Errors like the light tome disappears in Chapter 7 due to having being used by someone else in the game like Ced/Hawk.

And, with the maker, you can make you’re Fire Emblem 4 project of whatever. like you’re units, Stats, Growths, Holy Blood, etc. and even choosing/making a Units/Party Member in you’re game. And even having an option to choose to make that character inherit there Stats and everything to the 2nd Gen unit. (regardless of Father or mother, can be there children by default and while having the Father or Mother inherit to the other child.) Oh, and can’t forget about the Enemy units editor as well. like sorta thinking like Tactile, Srpg Studios, etc.

I also did imagine where there would be bench Promotion or Second Seals (which can be toggleable in the editor) and you can either press Y, X, and R like how those hacks do it. (second Seals I imagine would be toggleable as well like only you’re parents Classes being in there while also allowing 2nd gen to have full reclassing options. might have to think on that more.)

Even map maker as well where you can Customized you’re maps in each chapter. or even a world map already ready and you can just highlight those map tiles and place them into the Chapter itself or something.

Oh, not to mention Items & Conveys. I also did thought you could toggle items to be limited or can be freely unlimited but break upon using as afterwards like any Fire Emblem game would have. Toggable for enemies breaking there weapons as well or infinite like the SNES one does. hmmm… I wanna also think, if to stay faith to the SNES one, where you can use a selected Enemies in the enemy maker and have those copy and pasted like tags while with different positions. or having one to be unique in it’s own way.

So yeah ^^; I don’t know, something you don’t see of it and well sorta thought of it a yesterday. I… may not have the smarts for coding or making a program or something interesting, I suppose I wanted to just share on here :thinking: something interesting I suppose. Since FE4 has been my fave game for years so thought to share an idea. I did also had an same idea for FE5 as well. But supposedly same idea as well with it. So yeah ^^;

I too would love something like this. Imagine, rom hacks with similar gameplay to FE4, a unique game in the series… Gushing

Well darn, that sucks :c It would’ve been a fun game to play it on if it was either completed or just a demo of it. Even though it if was only chinese but would’ve been fun one to play.

Ye >w< And with it, a maker version would’ve been custom. not stuck or forced to only play on reskin version. Although, I know only a very few fe4 hacks did do a custom project without making it a reskin outta of it.

I feel like there should be for one.

I think you misunderstand: you cannot decompile FE4/5 because they were never compiled. The games were not written using a compiled programming language, and instead were written in the assembly language used by the SNES.

Ahhh, so a different then. I assumed it was the same like how the N64 or other old PC ones did. But guess I didn’t think it would be different with SNES.
