PME to make FE8 Miserable

I’ve been feeling bored as of late and really want to make something in Builder.
Thus, I had an idea for a PME.
Rather than submitting characters, this would be a huge focus on the EDITING portion of it.
Each person will submit an edit to be made, whether it be stat changes, patches, ai changes, etc.

The Rules:

  1. Each change must make FE8 miserable in some way, but STILL beatable.
  2. Insane changes like “Make the first map insanely big” aren’t allowed.
  3. I’d prefer not to do anything ASM related but if you want me to… uh… I’ll try.
  4. 2 submissions per person per day.
  5. Nothing like characters themselves being swapped out (no more Seth becomes Eirika), as it isn’t that type of PME.

Edit: Skillsys is downloaded, yg can request patches as well

Make seth be a Cleric staffbot with 0 stats in everything except magic, and awful growths.

Additionally, make erika a mage uwu (her class is “Mage UwU” with anima, light and dark acess, but her dark rank is permenantly D until she promotes.)

All light tomes have the devil effect so that you can no longer rely on the slayer skill to kill monsters.

Reverse the weapon triangle

all killer weapons are now 1-2 range

this may be a double edged sword (or lance, or axe, or arrow)

Bolting has the brave effect, 150 hit, 30 might, 20 weight, infinite uses, same range.

Bolting is no longer available to the player, and will be replaced with another item if obtained.

Increase enemy growths by 15%

All bosses have Vantage

All mounted (Cavaliers, paladins, pegasus knights, wyvern riders, troubadours, valkyries, etc) have 1 less move

Ephraim has 2 movement(3 on promotion), a simple but effective change

Second edit: Joshua is on a bad day, he has 0 luck and 10% growths on it

Ephraim’s Regenlief is so good! Good enough that we need to snap it.

Snap the Regenlief in half. That means half might, weight, hit and crit. No good weapons here.

Edit: Since I get two changes, Franz is now a recruit with Amelia’s bases. Now he’ll be good in general!

Make the entire final map (+ the Demon King section) forest tiles. Then switch a third of the enemies to bow users.

also, axes have their fe6 base accuracy

that will just make the earlygame easier

Should I give more enemies killer weapons as a result? Otherwise I might not include this.

There are 33 units in FE8 fyi (16 recruitables, 17 not)
