PME to make FE6 Miserable

Even before I released the unfinished version of PME to make FE8 Miserable, I was considering making one for the other two GBA games. Thus, FE6 now has it’s own miserable PME!

For those who want to see the FE8 one for ideas, PME to make FE8 Miserable

The Rules:

  1. Each change must make FE6 miserable in some way, but STILL beatable.
  2. Insane changes like “Make the first map insanely big” aren’t allowed.
  3. I’d prefer not to do anything ASM related but if you want me to… uh… I’ll try.
  4. 2 submissions per person per day.

Unlike the last But Miserable PME, I am allowing character replacements! While this PME is more about game based additions, the adding of characters and the replacing of characters is allowed. Just don’t add too many of them. (Bosses can also be replaced as well!)

Boost enemy growths by 10% and for every base character who is replaced add 1% extra to those growths.

Current: 10%

A citizen that replaces wolt with the bases of Wolts and growth rates of just 40% in each category( make them a thief also)
( for portrait just use the generic female citizen portrait)

Do it. Replace Roy with Amelia (replace the Rapier with the Wing Spear or something)

Remove hard mode bonuses for recruitable units

Change 1) Swords, Lances and Bows have the accuracy of their axe equivalent. Example: Iron swords now have 65% hit rather than 85%, matching that of the Iron axe.

Change 2) The weapon triangle’s hit bonus/penalty is reduced from 10% to 1%, so as to not make the weapon triangle be too over-centralising.

Cavaliers, Peg knights, Wyvern riders and their promotions have 2 less move.

Nosferatu tome is also Devil :joy:
*if this isn’t possible, make Fenrir Devil and have it appear more frequently mid to late game (letting you pick where!)

I believe the Nosferatu effect and the Devil effect are sadly mutually exclusive in FE6, but I could be wrong. Should Nomads, Valkyries, Troubadours and Generals not also lose 2 movement as well, as they are also mounted?

I forgot that FE6 has different limitations  I’ll edit it then!

Add fog of war to every map

Roy begins with capped stats, but everyone else has Roy’s vanilla bases and growths, except for Lilina, who promotes into a unique class that can use axes in addition to the sage’s usual complement, and I’m sure you know what animations to use for it.

If Roy is ever replaced, just add another Roy.

Marcus has 0 skill

Replace Dieck with Glass. And take away his Iron Blade in his inventory.

Have some of the bosses be demon dragons (aka iduns class) with faes Dragonstone

Every line of dialogue is replaced with nonsensical baseball commentary.

Roy (Or Amelia now) has permanent blindness from reaching Bern’s highest peak. All maps are pitch black, and the only way to view the layout is through the minimap

Also Marcus is now a cleric

So now we have Amelia, citizen, and Marcus cleric if I’m counting them up correctly

  1. drop all player character luck base/growths to 0 :+1:
  2. add 5 crit to every weapon :+1::+1:
