2nd off I cannot stand vegetable textures. Potatos and carrots go fine, but pickles are just so eh. I only had them literally in macdonalds, where they were ok but I kinda just want to pass through them asap to get to the meaty seasoned end.
True and also facts. Not all pickles are created equal. Being a pickle connoisseur myself, I like a good, natural pickle that has been slightly fermented along with being pickled and in the form of slices. This, however, is very rare to find.
But hey, why would you claim that pickles are bad while you couldn’t fine a good one? Kimchi is the best and could be called the king of pickle, and you can find them very easy on Amazon
The levels of excess in KFC’s pickled menu is a sin in of itself
Utterly abhorrent and indefensible
(jokes aside this is such a completely unhinged gimmick menu i mean what)
also as per the op, I myself do not like pickles, but when I eat out I try to eat 1 bite of whatever dish they come in before removing all pickles from my plate. My intent is that this form of (shock) exposure therapy will one day result in my having a more balanced taste palette. It has been maybe 8 years since I started this practice and I still hate pickles. Pickle apologists can’t fault me for not trying though.
