Myth of Blight. (Full Game out!) [42 Chapters]

Do not early promote your units. Each and every level is necessary for the final chapters.

I also want to point out a few things that Halbeirdiers are notoriously overpowered. I was playing the latest version and they’re still OP. More importantly, I feel like generic enemies shouldn’t have legendary weapons. Not this early. They’re ridiculously OP and you could at least give a reason that “Weapons like Wishland, Urvan and Vague Katti are made for the most fierce warriors of Ivolgada. Only a few high-ranking soldiers commanding the smaller platoons are skilled enough to wield this”. This would be way more fun if these appear in later chapters only.

I KNEW IT.

I didn’t state this I think because I didnt have a clearer picture of the later parts; but I had a solid hunch this would be the case. (Thank god I didnt earlypromote).

Also I totally agree with you 100%- while these kinds of foes I dont think pop up that much; the bosses manage to be… well…

An Example:

Myth of Blight_1700591894131

The boss here has two weapons: one is a bolt axe (1-2 range), the other is a Scythe (1 range, but…).

This is NOT a boss I would use for thr earlygame for one simple reason:

Counter.

That’s NOT an okay move to pull on the player, especially since you HAVE to deal with it to do any meaningful damage to the boss. Plus, why the fuck does a Berserker have capped Res, of all things?!

It pretty much means that the only ones capable of doing damage to him is the Jeigan- everyone else does scratch damage at best; and letting him switch to 1-2 range is asking for something stupid to occur.

Especially since 11 Mag. Is not exactly laughable when that means he can tear more than a few units that can hurt him a new one.

Even if his hit might be low due to suffering from weapon triangle Disadvantage, it’s not a 0% chance- especially since he can crit; and one of those is guaranteed to kill someone.

Honestly, Counter is just too much on this- it adds even more RNG to the fight because it means that even one hit from him can kill somebody.

Just wait for Boral to come. For some reason, I find him ridiculously OP for a henchman.

His attack, his speed and his defense. They’re all on steroids.

Strangely enough, his fight was more harder than the final boss to me even though the final boss can literally wipe out any unit in FE history.

If your lords get stat screwed well… It’s game over for you. Although the chance of that happening is low and they get some OP weapons later but even that might be not enough. You do get an epic battle, however.

Honestly?
This entire chapter (1-8) has been so much frustration as to trying to work out the best route that I’m sick of it.

Made it to 1-9 for real this time.
(Previous chapter took like I think 50-51 turns).

Give me one good reason why I’m not allowed to access the Arnory in the preps screen.
Stg that would help so much…

Wish the game had supports in it but overall the story is well put together, the character feel real, the world building is great. Wish you wrote a FE story for real or make your own game. Because you can write. The graphic are great too and store, weapon icons are so gorgeous. Overall I’ve played 20 chapters and I have to say right now it looking like a good 8/10. 2 points off since there aren’t any supports, (written supports), and the spike in difficulty a bit much would like an easy patch or a casual mode patch. That is of you have time. Overall it great game

This is something that caught my eye; it’s a rather, er, important typo…

This is Huge Spoilers

So for 3-Boss 2, you mispelled Murderer as ‘Merderer’, which, well… ruins the emotion of the scene somewhat.

Honestly, having made it as far as I have, I’ll say this:

So long as you don’t earlypromote, and can get past Act 1, the game’s difficulty generally stays manageable.

Some Feedback:

For I believe 2-5:
Vorgell shouldn’t be able to crit; especially given how strong he is to begin with. (Or rather, how strong Halberdiers are in general).

(More to come).

I have question… How do u open chest in chapter 1-4…cannot go through coz of wall

At turn 12, there will be a thief appears in the chest room, he will open the chest at turn 13, open the door at turn 14, and flee at turn 15. You can let someone kill him at player phase 14. Because after turn 10, the enemies will not spawn, except the thief at turn 12, and some other enemies from the bottom at turn 15, and you have enough time to get there.
Or you can kill some enemies in this chapter to get the door key, and take the chest key in 1-2 or 1-3, attract the thief to attack you through the wall, kill him, and open the door and chest by yourself.
BTW, the chest is a random drop chest.
(Sorry I don’t know how to hide this kind of message in the community, maybe some code needed to know.)

Are there guide for this mod?

Nicolas and Guinea don’t have paired ending together?

Cheeeeeeesus, this game. Just finished part 1 and 2.

The pros and cons both are so powerful I wouldnt recommend this to anybody without reading reviews, this is way different from typical fire emblem hack…

First, the positives:
-The game looks great, not much to add to it. In fact its cool that you see many new animations in first few chapters due to having very powerful green units around.
-You do have tons of tools if you save up some money (and even if you dont, but money in chapter 1 opens the really cool stuff). the weapons are original and theres even more weapon traingles, which i like. Tons of super-effective weapons too which makes your positioning very important
-The story is nice. Shame there is no support convos, but with how game is constructed i would be hard to even build them without just slapping end button 50 times on 1-2 specific maps i guess.
-Gimmicks are well explained.
-Theres held items, i like them.
-Poison actually matters in this game (not on enemies, mind you, but i can hamper you which you have to plan around)
-Green units actually need no coddling, so you can enjoy the “great war spectacle” instead of worrying they will be wiped round 1.

The neutrals:
-You dont get to choose team in chapter 1 or 2. Probably even in chapter 3. So basically your army is set for big part of the game. There are also no extra members you can find, unless they appear in later chates or i am simply a scrub.
-The shops. While its easy to find them and special ones arent justhidden somewhere where you have little to know knowing where like regular secret shops, the prices feel weird. No clue why dragonlance is worth more than two brave swords and why long-range tome (with super-effective against cavarly!) is so cheap.

The bad:
-Difficulty. No, just no. This needs some easy mode/scaling etc. This game is too hard. 1-4 really slapped my buttcheeks but i can attribute it to me really wanting that chest (which is completely optional). The reinforcements are ruthless, but not infinite and green units actually help a lot. In fact it gets a little absurd that they are stronger than you (and i mean generic green units, not named characters). The real trail of unfun is 2-3. You get FIVE units and four of them are glass cannons (and one isnt even that strong in general…). Enemy gets around 40+ units and infinite reinforcements (until you kill boss which two-shots almost everybody in your army. Oh, he also has 1-4 range). So you need to rush quickly but also not rush quickly because almost everything two-shots you. The only way its possible is because enemy rarely gets over 40% accuracy…
By the way, arena (its in part 1) is near-impossible. I only farmed there because i somehow got speed-blessed general and i only did on weakest of enemies.
-The weapon management. Why we dont get access to armory? story reasons??? having access to lowest-tier weapons would be nice instead of having fear of just breaking all of weapons, which almost happened to me.
-Once i got a chest… and it was empty (it was the escort mission in part 1). Weird bug…

Overall the game is simply too hard for me and rng-reliant and ive completed some other hacks that i dont think anybody would call easy, like Four Kings on hard or Vision Quest on normal. Seriously I would like to see other strategy on 2-3 than “just dodge 7+ enemies and get lucky”.

Actually theres a door to the chest so just… open the door. Yeah the door is not very visible but its on uppe right part of that room.

That empty chest you mentioned in part 1 is a 75% chest, may be a bug. ( I finished a Chinese guide, and I used the FEB to see some elements in this hack and I found that chest is a 25%, 25%, 25% Nihil melee weapons, no Nihil Bow.)
I have reported this bug to the author before, and he said fixed this but not released. The author is not online for a long time.
One of my friends is translating this hack into Chinese, he will fix this problem.

BTW, Ch. 1-4 and Ch. 2-3 are not friendly to first playing, but I think when you play these second or third time, it will be much more easy, just a little bit tired. (I finished this hack 3 times, waiting Chinese version playtest)

“friendly” is an understatement, its lunatic and maddening. There is literally 10 times more enemies than your characters, you cannot hide, you need to go fast and 80% of your army is squishy… Maybe im overreacting but when other fanmade games on hard are less assanine on first playthrough then something is up i think.

also yes, glad you can fix the chest, no chest should get you literally nothing…

I also dont like idea of random chest, but thats another topic.

Oh those chests were randomized?
I didn’t know that.

In the whole hack, there are 9 random chests in 5 Chapters. One of my friends is translating this hack, I am making a guide so I opened FEB to find more information.

Does the first arena on 1-7 have a feature, Easter egg or bug? If U enter it with a T1 archer, in the case Cinthea, you only get free fights with enemies with only 1 range…

Greetings, I just started playing this hack today. Is there any available information for all the obtainable classes in the game? So far I haven’t found any info pertaining to this. Including it in the hack description is deeply appreciated!

How does kalvin promote
