I signed up and am very invested in this idea! If I do make the cut my preference is an early chapter but I can fill any spot if necessary.
Can I also suggest a hidden/locked discord channel for all those who have already finished chapters so that they can discuss the game as it develops? Obviously you add people once they finish their chapter and then you can still have the very fun meta discussion and community that builds up around telephone projects.

Thanks to everyone who signed up. Honestly I didnāt expect this many people, but Iām glad weāre currently set to have a full FE campaign with 22 planned chapters. Iāll contact someone within the next few days to start on Chapter 4. As a reminder, sign ups will be open until five chapters remain.
A few housekeeping things, as Iāve seen some confusion on what the expectations are.
I will not forgot. Youāre listed alongside Shadow in my state of the art spreadsheet.
You can make units. You can unmake units. You can do anything. This is Project Chaos lol. I only ask that whatever you do, its somehow linked to what happened in the prior chapter.
What the āgood faithā rule is meant to prevent.
- A bunch of new characters play Blackjack for the whole chapter.
How to make this concept āgood faithā
- The characters from the prior chapter find themselves needing money, so they play Blackjack for the whole chapter.
I promise this is the easiest, bare minimum bar to clear. You will not break this rule by accident.
Itās been an idea Iāve had in my mind, but Iām hesitant. I donāt really have the time to moderate a discord channel, and Iād rather not cause any āChaosā outside the game itself. Maybe Iāll be more open to it when more chapters are completed? Iāll think on it, I suppose.

So Iāve seen this general feeling of trepidation from a lot of newer devs, which is perfectly understandable. I was super nervous when I snuck into Embers Entwined with no public projects under my belt. But be not afraid. The current dev team is about 70% newer devs, and Iām more than prepared to help anyone with the technical details.
More importantly, this is Project Chaos. This project lives and dies on audacity. Make whatever your heart desires.

personally I wouldāve just shoved the blackjack game to the side amidst more dramatic events. Like a big castle siege these two newbies are playing blackjack in the middle of because They Fucking Wanted To. Or a big bandit raid interrupting their pre-existing game of blackjack that they just decided to keep up while they joined the PCs, who have their own reasons for being here, to fight the bandit raid.

Yeah, just inbetween every phase a round of blackjack occurs, and depending on the winner de/buffs are granted to either team.
I mean I was thinking both players of the blackjack game were on the same team and just Jabbing about it and Being Dorks, but fuck it, sure, that sounds mechanically interesting.
Got so many ideas that I could implement but I want to ask do we have the skill system or no?

LT has a easily configurable skillsys built in. LT just doesnāt have many limits unlike GBA. Welllā¦ apart from not being able to use midi.
Oooh i got some tricks up my sleeve and its going to blossom if we get either a late or early chapter hehe.
Ill see if i can put your ideas inā¦ worst case scenario i have to ask @SirSpensir for help.
