Looking for people to help on a new ROM Hack

I don’t have a lot of knowledge on ROM Hacking myself, just the very basic things. But I do have a clear vision of what I want the hack to be. And I’m also open to any new ideas you may have.

So, if you have some spare time, and have some ROM Hacking capabilities (or even if you don’t), then I’d be happy to have you on board.

I think people would be more amenable if you gave any information about the project/any reason they should invest their time in this over another project.

99.9% of projects are essentially solo - the creator is the only one actually editing the game. However, there are many excellent free to use (with credit) assets, including portraits, tilesets, battle animations, and asm hacks/patches. So worry not, as it won’t feel like a solo project once you involve yourself with the community.

I think there are lots of hacks that would welcome you. The only real way to work on a project with others is to join someone else’s existing project.

Or make progress and ask for specific help on your own project - people are usually willing to provide support if they like what you’re working on and have something to show.
