Help with controlling enemies in gba fe

I want to play a fe7 or fe8 with a a friend, but i want my friends to control the enemy units. We don’t have access to febuilder, but we do have access to a cheat panel. Is there a cheat code that can help with this?

There’s a simple hex edit which does this for fe 8. I did it with my brother for a little while until he got bored.
