Genealogy of the Mini War: A miniature remake of FE4's 2nd generation

I’ve just noticed a difference in the POW growth rate between the original FE4 Seliph and your Mini War Seliph, and I was curious about the reasoning behind this change.

There was no Str/Mag split, so I thought a good compromise would be to add half of the weaker of the 2 to the stronger one.

As an avid FE4 lover, I had a lot of fun playing this. It’s funny that Holy Weapons are somehow even more broken than in the original :face_with_hand_over_mouth:

This looks great! I’ll definitely play this. One thing that bugged me about FE4 were the insanely large maps so maybe this is an improvement!

I’ve just finished this hack and I think the concept is so novel and fun. Since the playable fliers had such high range, making them go across nearly the entire map is funny. As was using Warp.

I think the difficulty could have been increased more gradually than it is. In particular some of the boss units seemed much more harsh than I remember even from the original. Like Brian, whom most of my units couldn’t do any damage to. Also, I think that stats in general should raise a little faster, or have them, or levers, higher at base. Since the game is so short with the maps so small, you wouldn’t have as much exp to gain with the reduced amount of enemies. In particular I think support growths should be higher, I wasn’t able to get many at all in my playthrough.

I liked some of your extra additions to the story and characters. Saias being there was a nice touch. And Sigurd and Deirdre coming to see Oifey and Shannon melts my heart… I would love if more parents came back that way but I am just emotional :sob: Also, was the last part of the Epilogue meant to change depending on whi Seliph has A-support with? It just pairs him with Larcei no matter what right now.

Finally, a thing appeared in the Supply in Endgame, not sure what that was about. Thank you
