I’ve just noticed a difference in the POW growth rate between the original FE4 Seliph and your Mini War Seliph, and I was curious about the reasoning behind this change.
There was no Str/Mag split, so I thought a good compromise would be to add half of the weaker of the 2 to the stronger one.
As an avid FE4 lover, I had a lot of fun playing this. It’s funny that Holy Weapons are somehow even more broken than in the original ![]()
This looks great! I’ll definitely play this. One thing that bugged me about FE4 were the insanely large maps so maybe this is an improvement!
I’ve just finished this hack and I think the concept is so novel and fun. Since the playable fliers had such high range, making them go across nearly the entire map is funny. As was using Warp.
I think the difficulty could have been increased more gradually than it is. In particular some of the boss units seemed much more harsh than I remember even from the original. Like Brian, whom most of my units couldn’t do any damage to. Also, I think that stats in general should raise a little faster, or have them, or levers, higher at base. Since the game is so short with the maps so small, you wouldn’t have as much exp to gain with the reduced amount of enemies. In particular I think support growths should be higher, I wasn’t able to get many at all in my playthrough.
I liked some of your extra additions to the story and characters. Saias being there was a nice touch. And Sigurd and Deirdre coming to see Oifey and Shannon melts my heart… I would love if more parents came back that way but I am just emotional
Also, was the last part of the Epilogue meant to change depending on whi Seliph has A-support with? It just pairs him with Larcei no matter what right now.
Finally, a thing appeared in the Supply in Endgame, not sure what that was about. Thank you
I just finished it in two hours. I didn’t run into any bugs, and it was pretty fun. The idea of miniaturization is interesting in theory, but in practice it’s more complicated. Let me explain: there are far fewer enemy units, which means less experience for our units. In the end, you end up keeping only the legendary weapon users and just breeze through the game. It just loses that epic feel—for example, in the last chapter, there are no more Deadlords, and the fight with Julius is way too easy, even without Naga. Anyway thanks for this hack, this must have taken a lot of work.
stuff every isaachian likes rn
I just finish it, it was fun, the main thing i see is that being so short a d with limited deplotment lots, you kinda need to stick with i team, i need it a lot of boss abuse and staling turns to get everyone to promotion
I like the fe5 references, specially shannan meating his copicat lol
Or Saias being the one Giving Tyrfing to Seliph (althoight since he is playble i wish he could got valflame)
Also, some ideas of the original scenes like Altena Talking to Quan and Ethelyn or Oifey with Sigurd Ghosts are cute
But 2 problems that i got, first, Elwind didn’t seem to work correctly? It deals less damage that fire and thunder to wyverns dispice havibg more mt and being wind should be effective like the wind sword, execpt 1 druid that did got damage from it?
And, for some reason, when i finish the game, Seliph got “Hock up” his cutscene with his wife with Larcei, Lana, Fee, Silyvia and Tinie (almost as a harem, althought in the endings only lana marry him lol)
Witch also, why silvya is ther if she has a A support with ares already?
A other wierd thing is that ced and tini had a event that even rise her stats dispice not having a support yet and i don’t remeber any other event?
But that mostly it, i will like to se the character growths since my seliph got a bit speed screw
There also alot of supports without text abd Nanna Death Quote was form vanilla fe8, i think is Seth’s or Durssel’s?
I also feal alot not entering castles, areans and all that, since it make more dificult to train new units.
i lost the nosferatu tome for julia lol and in one ocasion coupile spam after defwating the boss instad of after waiting in the gate
The first one is more my fault but still lol, the second don’t know what happend
Anyway, Fun, but needs polish
And i hope this wasn’t that hard to follow?
And, for some reason, when i finish the game, Seliph got “Hock up” his cutscene with his wife with Larcei, Lana, Fee, Silyvia and Tinie (almost as a harem, althought in the endings only lana marry him lol)
Odd, for me that only happened with Larcei in the epilogue when I paired him with Tine.
Huh? I thought units didn’t have skills, plus, that should not afect the combat forcast then lol
So, similar, but just a trio instat of a Harem hahahaha
Units don’t have skills here but if they did have the Adept skill in FE4, their holy weapon here is brave. That’s what Shtick meant.
New Update!
It features more supports and fixes the epilogue. Also fixed some typos.
can’t wait to play again
Pretty cool! Though I wonder if you had a small oversight. So Lester and Oifey’s support mentioned that his father is Midir. Been a while, but doesn’t his ending state that he goes to verdane? If so, shouldn’t his father be Jamke? Only Jamke’s kids go to Verdane in base FE4.
Regardless, thanks for writing more supports!
Thanks for the update. The placeholders are fun.
I also found it funny that this background appeared for this support:
Per the ending, Edain felt she “owed” Jamke for saving her in Verdane, but never got to repay her debt. Ergo, she asked Lester to bring peace to Verdane. I know the canonicity is sort of loose, but it made sense with Lester and Lana’s convo in C6, so I saw it as canon viable, at minimum.
Gotcha. Think I saw another bug. There’s green units that need to be saved, despite that, you don’t get exp in the end like you do in chapter 10.
I think you forgot the Julia/Fee support? The A support I mean, C and B supports work fine, but when I load it up, it ends abruptly.
Ah, I must have missed writing in the full conversation. Next update should have it finished.
