Hey, I 've been doing my second playthrough of the game, and I was wondering. How long does it take to build supports? I tried to do the end turn trick on the first and 3rd chapters, but nothing happened, not even between Becker and Gretchen. On my second playthrough I waited 112 turns but still nothing. Is this a bug, or do they build in a different way?

Hi! Iā€™m doing my 1st playthrough of the game and Iā€™m on Chapter 2 so far. Overall, itā€™s a really nice concept and I enjoy it. However, I encountered a bug while fighting Savannah with Sweyn using a Javelin. The game locks up after the battle sequence and the battle doesnā€™t end. I use MyBoy for Android so Iā€™m wondering if thereā€™s a reason this happens since I donā€™t want to restart the chapter just for the bug to happen again.

Supports do not exist.

From a quick look, the vanilla support partner slots are the same (ie Becker (Eirika) still has a support listing with Drugar (Ephraim)), but there are no growths applied, meaning they cannot actually be obtained.

It may make sense for Epicer to remove all the names and clear out the list entirely to avoid confusion.

Or maybe leave supports empty and just give bonuses. And make supports go one rank up per chapter, like in PoR.

Yā€™all have way too high an opinion of me if you think I wrote supports for a 5-chapter hack with a 30-odd cast. Iā€™ll go completely strip out the support levels when I come back from vacation.

yeah, thatā€™s illegal

I can attest that the hurdle of support writing will tempt you to cut characters from the roster.

TL;DW I came across a glitch where every player unit crits and cannot avoid any attacks, they also gain a perfect level up each time. Somehow you can get a glitch where you lose the cursor like the arrow lv ups, square cursor on the map and pointing finger on the menu and I guess if this happens it letā€™s you crit all the time. Iā€™ve had this happened before with the cursor so I suspended and reloaded my save file. I was trying to complete the challenge to beat wild sam so I didnā€™t have to replay another playthrough so I was save scumming to get a perfect level up and get two crits on wild sam with Yudhi.

Idk if this glitch is because of the psp emulator Iā€™m using or I didnā€™t use a clean rom file during patching.

Well I can safely say I have no idea how that happened. Maybe try and find a way to post the sav file?

Resume instead of restarting the file, itā€™ll remove the bug. The bug will continue after NG+ and I think suspending sometimes will remove the bug.

Iā€™m guessing this might be because of the psp gba emulator Iā€™m using, might not be compatible. Iā€™m using TempGBA. Iā€™ve had experience when it comes to playing new translated snes games where some parts of the game wonā€™t work normally on the psp snes emulator so it might just be because of the emulator.

Finished the game and got one more of the in game achievements to complete, which is beating Wild Sam, the superboss from chapter 2, anyone got some advice on pulling that off? Been experienting with different units and stat boosts but not.much success.

Spoilers for beating Wild Sam

The dev approach is to suicide a Hel user to bring him to 1 hp, then hit him with anything.

How I beat Wild Sam

I managed to use Yudthristaā€™s prf brave weapon to get an exact kill with one crit (13*3 + 13).

I strongly dislike sacking units but you have to if you donā€™t want to rng abuse I suppose.

I never got lucky with his crits even after RNG abusing so I just sacrificed a dark mage to take him down, which took a lot of RNG abuse given the low hit rate but his sacrifice wasnā€™t in vain, love the boss quote lol.

Forgot to mentioned I finish this hack. for such a short hack it was fun trying different units each time.
The special achievements were also interesting but pretty easy to do.
I had a lot of fun with the story and the gameplay.
There a few of units I didnt use, the sword, the cav, the flying dark user, the weapon specialist, the elephant rider, and the adventurer healer.

It starts a little rough on hard mode but it eases out after you get part pass a good part of chapter 1.

My favorite units to use was the villager, the MC mother for obv reasons, the armored archer, the unit who class was error, the manakete and the 2 guards at the entrance of the town.
Didnt really like using the emperor who costed 55k. Mostly because I cant use very many other units with him. He did his job well tho.

I give this hack a 5 out of 5.

I canā€™t figure out a good way to get Becker to level 10 for his postgame promotion. It seems like the only way for him to get enough exp is to dodge 1000 times and I donā€™t have time to do that.

Any thoughts?

I thought I had set it so that it could be used regardless of level.

Didnā€™t realize you can use it to promote, you canā€™t use it in the prologue when recruiting units but you can after the prologue.

Becker as his promoted class, I expected him to be able to fly through terrain at least.

Ah that actually is a bug. Fixed, along with supports.
