NOTE. I used GoudaGrabber’s (Previously GabrielKnight) portrait of a generic old man to make Bunkichi’s portraits. After all, he ended up posting it here and said to do whatever you want with him. So apart of me, also give credit to him if you’re going to use those portraits.
Note 2: Bunkichi’s portraits also make use of the extend mug patch.

Hey everyone! So this is a bit of a special post. Over a year ago I dove into learning how to animate for the GBA. I started with a very rough reskinned animation of a female mage. Well I’ve come a long way since then and have redone that animation, along with making many more animations!.. Like… over 70 more…

Here she is! A new and improved Shantae animation with an all new Hair Whip!

The Half-Genie heroine from Scuttle Town is finally Ret-2-go rocking a new fit.
The base for Shantae’s magic animation is Gamma’s Gaiden Priestess.

While many of the animations I’ve made have been very specific, its exciting to see one people seem to love. You folks have been very receptive to the mermaid animation I did a while ago. So as a thank you, here are 3 additional mermaid animations! Here we have a new staff variant, an unarmed variant, and strangest of all, a bow!

Don’t think to hard as to why a mermaid would have a bow…
Elements for the bow were taken from Meat of Justice’s Hunter animation.

Here is another one! This is an Ikki! You can probably guess where its from…
Similar to a mimic, this specter likes to hide in chests and pop out at unsuspecting looters.
This animation is kind of buggy and really only works on 1 range staves, so be warned.

So this was supposed to be for my hack, until I realized I made it too small. It is suppoed to be the Hypno Baron from the Shantae series, but he is much taller than this. So I guess to everyone, here is a Skeleton Dark druid animation! The original female Dark Druid animation was made by SHYUTERz.

I’m not done yet! Shantae is can transform into more than just animals. She can also transform into a Ninja!.. If you count a wardrobe change as transforming… or if you don’t know this is just the rogue animation… This is also one of the many transformations Shantae can utilize in my upcoming hack. It comes from a bonus mode from Shantae: Half Genie Hero.

But where do you get these transformations you may ask? Well, some of them can be acquired from the slithering serpent, Tuki, a wandering merchant that sells Shantae goods.

When I noticed Siegmund is represented with a blue gem, not a red one like in the vanilla Great Lord animation, I made this quick edit. It might be useful for someone, right?

Some frames of the MK repal still had some mixed colors from the vanilla animation, so it was quick to fix.
