Fire Emblem Resource Repository (Battle Animations, Portraits, Music, etc)

Now that my SIGURD entry has been officially included into the list of competing entries, I figured I’d finally release the custom graphics I made for the entry - I guess, in case anyone else wants to use them? All of these are F2E.

clone trooper standclone trooper move
Clone troopers, edited from vanilla soldier sprites. The way he holds the blaster is a little awkward because of the original sprite, but it doesn’t look too bad in motion.

Since the player units had several different types of troopers, I had to give each of them identifying characteristics in spite of them all having the same uniform. So, in case you also want to use them - Clone Sergeant, Sniper, Heavy Trooper, Engineer and Medic:

B1 droids, edited from FE7 Zephiel of all things. The second sprite, when using enemy palletes, becomes the Heavy Droid from Battlefront 2.

droid class cardheavy droid class cardmagnaguard class card
Class cards for both variants of droids as well as for the IG-100 MagnaGuard (sadly without their capes). These were originally from the Star Wars Episode 3 game for the GBA, which shockingly fit well for the class card size without any resizes needed - I gave them class card pallettes so they can be put in game.

This status background was edited from Kirb’s black status background on the repository. It is modelled after the GUI of KOTOR 2. Unfortunately the character name looks a little uncentered, but otherwise it works like a charm.

A whole selection of item icons. Some are a little rough, because it isn’t easy to convert large items to 16x16 without having to cut a lot of corners (and I’m also bad), but they’re all at least passable. In order:

  • Lightsaber (obviously)
  • DC-15A blaster rifle, Clone Trooper standard issue
  • DLT-20A heavy blaster/longblaster (based on the Battlefront 2 design. Probably should have chosen another gun like DC-15x because it doesn’t make too much sense in Clone Wars era, but oh well)
  • Z-6 rotary blaster cannon (also based on Battlefront 2)
  • Valken-38 longblaster (originally from Legends, managed to make its way to Battlefront 2)
  • Medpac, this has a bunch of different designs over the years but I used the Legends one
  • DC-17m combat weapons system (blaster/sniper/grenade launcher)
  • JT-12 clone trooper jetpack
  • Deflector shield (not happy with this one but it is passable)
  • E-5 blaster rifle, CIS droid standard issue
  • E-5C heavy blaster rifle, i.e. an E-5 with a modified barrel (Battlefront 2)
  • Magnaguard electrostaff
  • J-1 proton cannon (didn’t quite work, looks more like a beak, but alas)

Oh, and last thing:

padawanpadawan walk
Twi’lek myrmidon. In case you, er, want to add Twi’leks to your Fire Emblem romhack.
