Fire Emblem: Dark Lord and The Maiden of Light

First of all i would lime to thank you for creating this wonderful game. The story is amazing and the characters development is far better than the original FE games.

I’m currently in chapter 22 and i would like to know how to promote Arjun.

thank you i’m glad you like it. also arjun requires a heaven seal to promote, which you do get at the end of 22.

idk what to say about the final battle problem but i imagine beating it around 7 turns would be ridiculously hard. anyway, i’m glad to know you like the game and my design choices. i do like atypical looking playable characters after all.

Anyone know where and what chapter the secret shop is on?

It would be helpful to know when/where there are any secret shops considering the HUGE lack in promotional items for units

Just use FEBuilderGBA to find them.

Anyway, made it to Kotan Chapter 21x. I’m here to report about how so many of the commentary inserts/auguries have speech balloons that trail off the screen (and still charge gold for reading), that the Nodens/Rienfleche still has the Brave Bow description on it (even if it’s technically accurate now with the added brave effect), and that I’m wishing somebody would make a custom generic portrait for assassins like was made for Halberdiers and your Bow Armors.

Oh, and enemy assassins can also deactivate lava tiles, it seems. There’s no textbox when they do, but there is the “Disabled trap” text.

I’ve just finished chapter 25 and was surprised that we’re given no way to get the chests. I ran out of lockpicks and chest keys a while ago.

Just finished the game for the first time,

The difficulty ramp with the final boss in particular felt pretty rough, even with the Athos equivalent I had to sacrifice some of the bonus reinforcements to take him down because many of my units wound up with less than 40HP which was his average attack per swing (And many were getting doubled by him). I don’t know if I got RNG screwed without knowing it, didn’t abuse supports enough or what but basically everyone but 3 units was hitting for 0s and the ones that could hurt him were on their deathbed after trading.

That aside, loved the hack. The story was engaging from beginning to end and even had a few surprises I wasn’t expecting in terms of plot twists. The amount of unique boss VS dialogue with units was extremely impressive. I didn’t get to view as many supports as I wanted but the ones I did get to see were really nice and made we want to get to know these characters more. I had a real hard time choosing who to A rank between Jenna and Durga for my Tact and Chandra and Mide for Orion!

It was rewarding to be able to look at the support list for the three lords and basically be able to know who their supports and paired endings would be just based on plot cues alone (Before even having the actual unit names revealed to me) without having to fall back on the overt-waifuism of the more recent titles where everyone is available to everyone.

There really wasn’t any point where I felt like I was getting an experience that’s inferior to one of the actual games and for that I can only give you my highest praise for creating such a great experience. After I play some more ROMhacks I can confidently say I’ll be returning to this one for replays.

Hey! Just wanted to say that I’ve been playing your hack the past few days. I’m all the way up to chapter 15-2. It’s a pretty fun one! I wasn’t expecting to enjoy it that much, since people tend to praise the story more than anything and I’m more of a gameplay guy, but it’s enjoyable enough.

Just had a couple of things to say. First, I am horrible. “I” as in, the avatar. I suck so much. I had to feed me a speedwings, an angelic robe and an energy ring and I STILL was worse than Agrippa in every way. Sheesh. Did I just get massively unlucky or are my growths that low?

Also, I’ve been having some troubles with equipment. Thing is, the last time I got to shop was in Fort Ridgway. I ran out of funds then. The next time I had any money was the Bane map, where Durga’s ambush left me with no time to go back and buy stuff. And then the next chapter’s armory had no standard weapons, and after that there have been no more armories. So while I’m doing okay in terms of magic, I’m very close to running out of axes and swords. Hopefully there’ll be a store soon!

Also also, I love the character designs in this game. The unit designs, too. For such a relatively simple hack, you’ve come up with some interesting unit concepts, to the point where I’ve more units I want to use than I can deploy - which I always consider a good sign, but damn it’s so annoying. I really want to keep Horton and Freesia, but… Aaahhh, I need room for the female brigand!

So yeah. Just wanted to congratulate you on a job well done! I’ll have more to say when I progress further into the game. For now, just one more thing: I haven’t encountered any glitches, but I’ve been taking screenshots of the typos I’ve come across. I’m not sure if you’re still working on the hack, but I’ll leave the bigger ones here, in case you feel up to fixing them.

Typos

This one’s funny. I guess Arthur didn’t show up for work too often.

Not too sure about this one. Maybe it’s just me, but this sentence feels wonky to me. I think it’d sound better if you changed it to “let the trust you have in me shine!”

hey glad ya’ll liked/liking it. thanks for pointing out so many errors. i’m not actively working on the hack anymore but i do still intend on correcting stuff like that when i have the time.

I recommended this hack to a friend and once they reached a certain minor plot revelation in chapter 26 they were reminded of a song, and felt compelled to make this:

lategame spoilers lmao

(the reference, just in case)

I’ll also add that they’re still a little bitter that 20-Kotan suddenly had same turn reinforcements when there’s never been STRs at any other point in the game lol.

kino.

Dark Lord and the Maiden of Light is one heck of a experience for me. Both the ROM hack and the current streaming videos from Mageknight404 encouraged me to play the ROM hack. The Story feels really great and the music has plenty of FE music that has GBA-fied into it that may be familiar for them for who played them before. The Act 3 of the game is the most interesting part for me and I enjoyed it. Liked the cast in it and find them a entertaining bunch right there. DLATMOL is now another favorite game to play. I went to the Ahribaal route for my First Playthrough, will go for the Kotan route in my next playthrough.

Here is my Final Team.

Final Team

The Lord of Eagles, Orion’s Bolt of Ernterre. Why use one sword when you can use TWO SWORDS AT THE SAME TIME!!! Think of Hector without the Axe and take two swords instead. But when you get his Legendary weapon on a certain chapter, he will obliterate anyone in his path and become Ike at the same time! Paired Orion with Chandra for their A-Support and my Tact with B-support.

The Tactician of Vanheim, Richard (The name may sound generic, but it’s relates to one of the kings of England so it’s not generic to say at least). One of the Three Lords that is well-written and is not Robin from FE Awakening. He is very heavy against Magic and weak to physical damage. Found his story and him being a Tactician is suppose to be what Robin wants to be without being a plot device and convenience at the same time. Supported him with Jenna with A-Support for their family history and feelings as well, and B-Support with Orion.

The Future Emperor of Deimos. This character is literally an Est in a Chest (Pun intended) and upon promotion, he gets to be a Master Knight with all 4 weapons available at C-Ranked. Got him to Level 20 at the end of Chapter 19 and put him to the sidelines until he gets his Heaven’s Seal. He’s totally worth your investment and having a Master Knight Lord at your side can be really epic to have! Paired him up with Durga with an A-Support and got both Alva and Dakini with a C-Support.

First name Chandra, last name Gupta. She packs Magic and Res to eradicate anyone in her path, but her speed is her downside when getting doubled by enemies that can two shot her if you are not careful. Got her Paired up with Orion and find her ending to beloved by all of Ernterre.

The Bandit Princess, Dakini. You can’t deny a Female Brigand don’t you? She’s really speedy and strong to deal with Crits on Tough enemies, but her downside for her is the defense and resistance against incoming attacks. Find her backstory a big reason why she hates the Deimos and lost her home and title. Glad she found redemption and hope within Orion’s Army. She gave plenty of supports with Arjun, Darius, and Durga with her Ice affinity.

The Maiden of Light and Daughter of Brauma, Freesia. She’s the Rhea of this ROM hack, but well-written to have being playable. Her magic can smite all the monsters in her way, but lacks the damage output when facing enemies that have High Resistance which makes it tough for her to deal them. Paired her up with Kiri with A-Support and got a B-support with Horton.

The Lance of Justice and Virtue, Ty (Also same name as the creator of the hack, is it a coincidence?). His Crits and damage can clear out anyone in his way without any worries and the Guan Dao is so broken that it’s like a killing edge, but as a lance. So is he an Edge lord with the blade and wields the lance instead or not? Supported him with Darius and made them form a mercenary company after the war. Want to see that mercenary company that he and Darius form in the sequel.

The Lover Merc and Strongest Hero, Darius. This man is really entertaining as a man with a huge ego that dwarfs the entire continent than just a regular womanizer. I see that Shermie can outclassed Darius with stats and growth before his joined time and he get overshadowed by her and I can see why. I gave him a chance to shine and he can be useful after promotion. Paired him up with Ty and made them best buddies.

Kiri, The Manakete that is not a loli and more like a full-grown adult Dragon. I gave her a try by your commentary and she’s so dang powerful! Gave her a Afa’s Drop on her and she’s gaining stats like crazy and she is so good with both Def and Res to tank attacks, but her luck is her downside so I gave her a Iron Rune to ease the Crits and not worry about it. Her Dragonstone has infinite uses which is so good to have without running out. Think of it as a thank you for finding a way to make her playable and keeping her in your game and not cutting her out, without her, the ROM hack and story would be so different than the one we all know. Paired her up with Freesia as an A-Support and a B-Support for Jenna.

Horton hears a Who? Why am I using him, after watching Mageknight404’s stream of DLATMOL, he has a trouble time getting Horton kills in one of the gaiden chapters with Chandra in it, that he has to bench him and it made him feel sad, so I’m using him for my team and took him to endgame. This one’s for you, Mageknight404. Anyway, Horton is a really good unit to have and his battle sprite is basically Guy and it fits him well. Paired him with Aislin with an A-Support.

The Snow White Sage and older Lysithea without the Cursed-Crests, Jenna. She is a secret recruitable unit after doing the right conditions to unlock the Gaiden chapter and alternate solution to Chapter 16. It makes you feel sorry for her if you don’t get the Gaiden chapter correctly and makes it depressing. Thankfully the creator decided to make her playable and give her a chance to redeem herself. It gives me sympathy for her and a chance for Jenna and the Tact to reconcile with each other from their parents’ hatred. Paired her up with the Tact, Richard, with an A-support and an B-support for Kiri.

Durga the Invincible. A playable Boss that is recruitable? Count me in! I can see why the creator liked writing this character and just went up being playable. Paired her up with Arjun and liked them as a team.

It’s the Year of Eli. He’s got all around stats at endgame and the most bulky with both Def and Res making him a Barrier against all attacks. Plus he has a split personality involving stress with him being Calm and normal to Crazed and Insane at the same time. Could this be Noire’s long lost son that somehow ended up in Dark Lord and the Maiden of Light? That’s my headcanon and you can’t deny it.

Aislin aka Tsundere Asuka. Aislin gets overshadowed by Jenna after she joins your team via Gaiden chapter and she outclassed every playable Mages before her join time. She is really powerful and fast when she gets her growths going and she’s really useful to have. Found her backstory involving her being an target by assassins and the Minos Gang to be interesting. Paired her up with Horton with the A-Support and made her a traveling companion with him.

Niya the Dancer. She capped her level 20 before reaching endgame and the only unit that can both dance and heal. Didn’t support her with anyone in my Endgame team.

DLATMOL is a really good ROM hack and I recommend anyone who is willing to try it out. Is it Ironman worthy? It could be possible and it would be a challenge to make an attempt on it. Postgame is so good to have after finishing it and you made it like go crazy with the other units like Arena and support grinding very good. It’s like a blessing in disguise. I will go play Order of the Crimson Arm after this to support your creator friend after visiting one of the houses in the postgame. The postgame may not be like The Last Promise, but it’s a useful one to have in it. I rate DLATMOL a 9.2 out of 10.

I had to create an account just to comment on this, I have to say great job on the mod! This was my first fire emblem mod I’ve tried as I’m somewhat loyal to the GBA versions. I don’t have a longwinded review to give but a couple takeaways that I’ve had so far (I’m at chapter 12);

  • I didn’t take screens as I noticed others already have but there’s a handful of typos
  • the character designs are really good and the sprites are matching
  • At times the maps feel almost a bit too big and are a bit cumbersome to move around
  • I think the enemies could be a bit stronger, at chapter 12 they’re still pretty weak, and consequentially it seems to take a long time to level up
  • to the previous point, I would’ve liked to see arenas or some other way of grinding levels (maybe there are some, I just haven’t seen any yet)
  • promotion items seem pretty rare, I’ve only gotten 3-4 so far
  • As much as I like options, I think there are a bit too many playable characters, with not much supporting stories. It feels a bit overwhelming and can make it hard to choose who to use
  • I appreciate the use of music from FE 6 7 and 8, as I’m a particular fan of FE8 soundtrack
  • does it take longer to upgrade skill levels now?

That’s all I can think of for now, all in all fantastic mod, and I’ll definitely keep playing it, thanks a lot!

yo man, glad you liked it.

nice to see you’re keeping at it. for the record i don’t have any arenas in the game outside the post game map. and as for leveling weapon skills or whatnot, i haven’t altered the exp flow of the base game.
thanks for playing.

I managed to finish this hack earlier today and, as the first hack I completed it was an absolute blast!
I have a lot of thoughts on this game, so apologies if you open the tab below and aren’t ready to read a text wall :stuck_out_tongue:

Final Team + Character Thoughts

Orion was a pretty fun rendition of a sword-locked lord. His monstrous constitution let me throw some blades his way in the mid-game and it was fun to see 14 weight swords thrown around like nothing. Dual-wield swords are super anime, but seeing as it’s fire emblem, I think it’s actually more of a plus. It doesn’t necessarily need to be realistic. He also became absurdly powerful with growths constantly ticking all the right places and his 1-2 range personal weapon, he was practically an army on his own.

I like self-insert tacticians. Fem!Tact’s unpromoted sprite + map sprite are so great and I love them to bits, so much so that promoting felt like a minor downgrade in quality before I was able to get used to it. The little orb on the map is just the greatest thing ever
Stat-wise, she took a whole up of stat boosters as a fragile mage lord, inheriting 2 energy rings (shaky magic growth), an angelic robe and all of the defense booster shields (plus a body ring) since I wanted to be dumb with her. The S-tier tome is super fun to mess with and super valuable in the late-game, along with poke in the earlygame being great. I think she had a little period of struggle in the mid-game, but she could always fall back to the backlines and support (I typically had just enough magic to one round a lot of the time, thankfully)
Design wise, I really appreciate the differences in male!tact and fem!tact’s potraits. They both showcase the impression of a smart, cunning tactician really well, but they go about it in different ways. Male!tact seems to have a more scheme-making, cunning face like you’d except of a villian(which doesn’t hold, enforcing the idea of characters like him and Ronaldo not being defined by how they look to be good or evil), while Fem!tact looks more like she’s done with everyone shit and she’ll obilieriate you in chess. Design choices like these show up among most of the other characters and is a super strong point of this hack.

Shermie’s a cute female mercenary, and ended up being the user of the goldbrandt since she had S rank swords quicker than any other non-lord character. Her defense is surprisingly high as well, she was consistently my 3rd most bulky unit and it served her quite well, along with doubling very reliably with her high speed.

My MVP unit. Once I gave her the 2nd angelic robe(Tactician took the 1st one), her offensive stats were well on her way and she was a monster during player phase. She was my Patastra user and her high movement let her take out a lot of threats very reliably and quickly. Her defensive stats were a bit lacking, but the angelic robe was enough that she was rarely in danger despite it. Her A support with Eli let her kill FinalBoss too (and her 9% crit saving me a turn which was really important after losing a wall). I can understand why people wouldn’t want to use cavaliers with how generically good they are in the main series, but I just like the classline too much.

Raimon was a unit was pretty mediocre combat-wise, but I picked him up because the idea of a high movement high defense wall was super appealing. I also really like what you did with the trope of cavaliers. Rather than having one with strength and one with speed, Emma and Raimon represent an Offensive vs Defensive stat split. Emma had much more strength, skill, and speed, while Raimon had more Defense and HP(without stat boosters, anyway). Likely my worst unit in the line-up since his defense lost a lot of its value with how buff enemies at the endgame, but still a fun unit overall even with an underwhelming performance.

It can’t be underestimated how useful light magic was in this game. With how strong monsters were, her easy access to supereffective monster weapons in comparison to my other units was extremely powerful. Her C staff bishop promotion let her juggle as both a staffbot and a monster slayer, and her character was really compelling.

I was planning to bench Eli since I wanted to move away from always having a sniper, but his growths proved really blessed early on and I decided to use him. Snipers are extremely strong player-phase units and Eli is definitely no exception, having the overall best combination of power and speed while being able to not get counterattacked. Being able to bait out 3 range with Eli was also very important and gave him a stable use later in the game, along with brave bow + legendary bow brave effect being really really good. A supporting him with Emma was generic, but they worked too well together.

Statistically quite similar to Emma (and a little bit better in places like defense), but fliers just didn’t feel as useful to me in this game compared to paladins. The abundance of archers, airslayers, and Ashley having a 4 con loss over Emma typically left her in more of a supportive cleanup role than a combat unit. It wasn’t very flashy, but she helped out where she could.

Troubadour. Staff utility is nice, 8 move is a lot for a healer too, but I don’t really have much else to talk about for her. She was able to tank boulders with 1 hp left in Final-2 which suggests her health growth is just enough to not make her a liability. Super good dodge-tank though.

Along with letting me project my bisexuality onto Fem!Tact after her introduction dialogue, dancers are super useful. I really liked being able to use staves on her too. Sometimes, a dance isn’t going to save someone like a quick 12-16 HP can. She also took the boots since I didn’t want to pick between the 2 lords.

I really wish I used Jenna earlier than I did, because her base magic of 21 is absolutely disgusting and, had she been given time to grind up staff rank, would’ve been my best healer. Despite picking her up around chapters 23ish, she still proved a strong unit with good chip and healing, even with her ability to double mostly gone by that point in the game. I sort of consider her a Pent/early-promoted Canas of sorts, having really good stats for when you get her but taking a bit of staff-rank grinding to reach her true potential. But seriously, 21 magic boosted Heals with no commitment is gross.

Story Time: I was planning to level Horton here because I wanted an A support that wasn’t Orion, but Arjun joined a chapter later and I decided he would fill that role instead. I loved having the Roy animations, and I loved the idea of having an Est archetype for a Lord character. His growths were Phenominal as you’d expect. etc etc. His combat really helped in the late-game chapters, and even when he couldnt help with the FinalBoss his supportbot A support with my tactician made the boss fight a lot more manageable.

I don’t have much to talk about Adda, but I loved the amount of stealables in this game. Training up Shenks a few levels to get the speedpoints to steal valuable items like the angelic robe added fun side objections to some of the maps, and it makes me wish I stuck with Ronaldo from the beginning. Adda still helped a bit so I’m not complaining.

THANK YOU FOR GIVING DRAGONSTONES INFINITE DURABILITY OMG
She was my best source of supereffective damage against monsters excluding Freesia/Dorothy light magic, and had really solid growths. Otherwise, her accent was neat.

She used the S-rank axe, since my Wyvern Rider refused to get speed points past 15. Good filler unit, especially since she only needed a point or two in speed to serve as a wall unit for FinalBoss. (and also her moments in the story were really cool but I wonder what happened to the sword she had…)

The performance was very stable and I didn’t have any issues which affected gameplay or crashing, I only noticed a few things toward the very end of the game:
-Arjun and Fem!Tact’s paired ending showed no dialogue. It just moved on after showing the portrait, which seems to have happened before for different endings judging by the older posts.
-When the dialogue box goes dark, or other triggers typically related to that black color, the cursor becomes dark black upon finishing. It remains so when interacting with things and the menu, usually going away a few actions later, so likely after the first combat phase. I think this is a GBA issue more so than an issue for this hack, as I feel like I’ve seen it in the normal games too.
-Dale(male axe brigand) talked in the ending of Final-3 despite being dead. Raimon and the 2 nomads also died in my playthrough but they didn’t talk at the end so it seems to be Dale-specfic.

I’ll definitely come back to this game to try to Iron Man it once I get through more hacks I need to play first, I hope it’ll let me use some units I didn’t get a chance to mess around with the 1st time! (also I maybe won’t get both my nomads killed again but that’s a tall order)

You got a nice Final team. You should check out my Final Team as well. You would be really impressed by it. Your Eli is impressive, but you should see my Eli, He’s really an All-Around Sniper with stats to go!

Oo yeah, I’m envious of that capped Strength in particular. I think his growths at the early-game were more than enough for me to use him though, chapter 3 took him from a liability to a carry with that longbow boss. Longbows were so useful in this hack too that I’m glad I took an archer with me for them.
I also noticed that defense and resist just now. How. He literally had the best overall defense/resist numbers out of anyone in the army excluding Kiri Dragonstone. You had to have fed him some stat boosters, right?
Did you ever have Eli just wall things off while he killed everyone at 2 range? That sounds like something I’d do with a sniper that bulky lmao

Truth be told, it’s the RNG Goddess herself that granted Eli the defense and resistance.

I wish my Raimon had stats like those on his offensive growths ;-;. He had the speed I’d assume but not the strength lmao. Reminded me a lot of Noah from my fe6 playthrough because they both were speed blessed and had mediocre combat.

After a hiatus of some month, due to being nearly soft-locked by the Final-3 chapter, I succeeded !

Like I said in one of my previous post, the Hack was a great experience. It really feel like a GBA Fire emblem that could have been released back in the days ! There was a lot of very clever level design, and I had a blast playing through the game ! (except for the final chapters where I was rebutted by the difficulty)

Here’s my final team before facing Maximilian:

Summary

Orion:
Fire Emblem - Dark Lord and the Maiden of Light 01
Orion summarizes quite well the whole experiences of the romhack, he is a “classic” FE lord but it’s done very well. Notably when his hatred of Ahribal and Deimos get more and more out of control and his comrades have to make him realizes what he is doing, especially since he ended with Chandra. In combat he really carried the group in later chapters.

Female Strategist:
Fire Emblem - Dark Lord and the Maiden of Light 04
A well written “avatar” with a quite dramatic story in later chapters, especially since I went blind and didn’t knew that her half-sister was recruitable. In combat she was the main caster of my groups and stayed quite useful till the end.

Blair:
Fire Emblem - Dark Lord and the Maiden of Light 02
Had a lot of fun with the writing of Blair ! He was very useful in early and midgame but the more the game advanced and more he served as a meatshield. But he stayed in the team, and ended up with Ashley

Ashley:
Fire Emblem - Dark Lord and the Maiden of Light 03
She was my main flyer, at first I didn’t planned on using her but I quickly realized that she was better than anyone else for this job. her supports with Blair were also nice to dig a bit into her backstory

Suzhen:
Fire Emblem - Dark Lord and the Maiden of Light 05
My second flier, Suzhen, she had a harder time than Ashley to not fall behind, but a flying axe-user was still of good uses in a lot of situation !

Shermie:
Fire Emblem - Dark Lord and the Maiden of Light 06
One of strongest and earlier member of the Army, Shermie was always quite useful on the Frontline and was one of my few units that could really keep up with my two lords.

Chandra:
Fire Emblem - Dark Lord and the Maiden of Light 07
I didn’t expected Chandra to grow on me, but she really did. The story of this poor priestess having the opportunity to redeem herself, while having to face the growing “madness” of Orion against her own people, it was quite a dilemma for her ! In combat she was quite a killing machine which was always very useful to have

Emma:
Fire Emblem - Dark Lord and the Maiden of Light 08
I clearly should have benched Emma, her stats weren’t great and was more glass than cannon, but still she stayed till the end and had still some moments of glory.

Dale:
Fire Emblem - Dark Lord and the Maiden of Light 09
This mad old man was very fun to have in the team, and teamed with Kiri they did quite a slaughter in later half of the game !

Niya:
Fire Emblem - Dark Lord and the Maiden of Light 10
Before all, in the last chapter, while trying to kill Maximilian I made a mistake and he ended up targetting her… Let just say that I didn’t expected what happened in their “dialogue” ! I realized in the epilogue why it happened. Then, I don’t know if you are planning a sequel but the idea that there was more to this world that what we saw in the game was a really nice final note. Before that I didn’t though much of her apart from being a mostly “generic FE dancer”, so the twist with her origin had quite an effect ! Congrats for that !
In combat, it was very great to have a dancer which was both able to dance and heal. So she quickly earned her place in the team, which leads to my late discover on her.

Kiri:
Fire Emblem - Dark Lord and the Maiden of Light 11
It’s good to have a Manakete without having to worry about dragonstone uses, and her support with Dale were quite funny, she saved the situation a lot of time !

Wren:
Fire Emblem - Dark Lord and the Maiden of Light 12
I took Wren to have a bulky archer, while pairing her with the strategist, but sadly her defences ended up a bit low for a general in later chapter. Clearly not my best units but her bow was still useful in a lot of cases

Yet:
Fire Emblem - Dark Lord and the Maiden of Light 13
Having another valkyrie in the last chapters made me things that I shoud have trained someone else for a healer, to have more diversity, but yet like any mounted healer was quite useful all along !

Arjun:
Fire Emblem - Dark Lord and the Maiden of Light 14
An est-like Lord is a very nice concept, and his unique recruitment was quite fun. Arjun fulfilled all his promises and helped a lot after his promotion ! I can’t imagine the war machine he could have been with some more levels.

Fang:
Fire Emblem - Dark Lord and the Maiden of Light 15
One of my regret is that I didn’t used Fang as much as I should have, so she ended up quite mediocre for what she could have been. Initially, I mainly deployed her because I was interested in seeing her support with Arjung… Which ended up quite dramatically
Fire Emblem - Dark Lord and the Maiden of Light 08
