Edit: I updated it again, this time, to fix how Male Dread Fighters didn’t randomize with any items. Also: the “Don’t Randomize Generics” option is a bit messed up and doesn’t take into account the changes, so don’t pick that option.
Okay, I’ll be releasing a new update tomorrow, this time, it’ll add the Nightmare into the list of possible items that a Demon King can spawn with, and Pupils will now no longer spawn with Bolting. But I wanted to do something else: You see, the Ephraim Great Lord is nice, especially after its T3 buff, but I felt like it needed… more. So, now I ask?
Which would be a nicer Ephraim Promotion?
The Nuramon Great Lord? (would become infantry and get Swords + Axes)
Or…
The regular Great Lord (no changes)
- Mounted
- Unmounted

Here’s how Nightmare now works: It’s a dark spell usable by anyone. You need to attack with it. It’ll do 0 damage no matter what, no matter what the combat forecast says, but that doesn’t matter: because after the attack, all enemies up to 3 spaces away from the caster’s current location will be put to sleep.
I personally voted for unmounted because it is a cool concept and if I really wanted to play this hack with the normal promotion, then I can just copy and paste the data myself to have a splitpromotion for him. Can’t speak for everyone else tho.

Alright, it’s been updated! I even made some other changes:
- Archsages have been renamed to Spellblades, and High Maguses are now Archsages.
- Archsages now only use Axes, Anima, and Staves. They gain Swords or Light depending on what their prior form was.
- Some T3 bases have been improved.
- Ephraim Great Lords now get Shove instead of Canto.

Yes, but I’ll have to update the rom again because I forgot to change Eirika route L’Arachel and Forde’s classes, so they spawn as T3s. That and making Heaven Seals way less expensive. Just finished it.

I noticed that both Tarvos and Brigands get the Intimidate skill. It might be worth changing the skill for one of the classes so there’s less overlap in functionality.
Edit: Also, since you wanted to make room for more classes, you could probably get rid of either the Bard or the Dancer. There’s not really any reason to have 2 refreshers. As for which one to keep…
On one hand, the dancer suits FE8 more, but on the other hand, the bard is more useful since it can use staves and swords are useless with dancer caps. I think there might’ve been staff animations made for Dancers as well.
Second Edit: The skill “Liquid Ooze” that Baels have should also be replaced. It shows the enemy taking damage in battle, but the damage goes away after battle.
Alright, so on the topic of classes… The class list is mostly finalized until I can figure out how to add more entries to the T3 class list from FEBuilderGBA. I can EDIT the list, but I can’t add any classes. Thus, the class that would replace the Bard would either have to be a T1 class, or it would have to be a T3 that wouldn’t appear as a random class, and another T1 would have to take its place there.
As for the other requests… Yeah, I can work with those. Plus, I wanted to fix a music issue with 5x, so yeah, it’s done. Come get the patch!
One last update for the night: namely, one that adds T3s and Lord classes into the arena and also the VisionQuest style Modular Mini Mug Box! Now you can gauge your enemies and their weapons from a glance!
found a glitch that happened with a summoner i got. the phantom died and disappeared but its still in my list of units with 0 health
