volcano badge has come so far
It seems like the Parallel Emblem video isn’t posted so I thought of putting it myself. (I can take down the post if I’m overstepping roles or something.
I don’t think you are overstepping the roles here. It’s just a little delay, is all I’m going to say.
There was a little mix-up delaying this video, for which I apologize, but The Eligor’s Spear is now live! Come check out this fully-playable hack by Zarg!
Can’t wait to see the fully completed 2nd Route of Eligor’s Spear. Wish you luck Zarg!
Sorry for the delay everyone! Alas having to work and other obligations has had an impact on my ability to watch and give impressions of every showcase. But no longer!
Teraspark’s Weapon Relations Randomizer! It’s neat. Could have had a more exciting showcase, but it’s cool that such a thing exists. I’m curious how such a thing was conceived and put together.
Fall of Thabes! Love me some Archanea/Valentia
I don’t think there’s any other project that has a premise quite like it! Fighting primarily dragons with a sprinkling of terrors and the dragon’s forces.
Parallel Emblem! I love the opening bit with the developers! Very cute and wholesome
Gotta say, I enjoyed the premise of the hack too! A tale of souls and swords, eternally retold, some might say
. Also, the portraits look great! Whoever did each of them should be proud! Also SUNGLASSES? (I Think?)
Eligor’s Spear! Did I see a gaiden inspired dracoshield?
Jokes aside, the map looks really fun and dynamic! It’s unconventional, but honestly I also appreciate the no commentary, gameplay focused showcase. Not to dismiss any of the great commentators we’ve had so far this year, (Hello Gamers
) but it does keep the showcase brief and the focus clear. Also, I gotta shout out the use of XBC2 music for the near victory theme, you love to see it.
Fire Emblem Heroes, but it’s not a gatcha.
I didn’t know what to expect from Isekai Emblem: Tales of Two, but it wasn’t one of the most charming in engine showcases so far in the event! Great implementation BigMood, and besides that it seems like you’re doing some interesting things with subclasses of weapons. Hope the final project is as charming as the showcase.
Shackled Power! Gotta complement the commentary on this one, Dainn and Sphealnuke made this a fun video to watch and listen to (sorry about your bad luck though Dainn). The map itself looked great, and I like the implementation of bombs as a new weapon type. Great work Sphealnuke!
the Lex Talionis features showcase was pretty good, it’s nice to see some elements from the 3DS era making their way back into GBA.
whoever managed to implement those features in the engine, really did an impressive job
LT isn’t GBA.
