I just wanted to thank everyone who watched the Deity Device Showcase as well as give Xil another especially big thank you for all the work he did editing my broken audio together. I actually recently moved and am no longer living in a rural area, so if we do this again, hopefully my half of the conversation won’t sound like found audio from the dial up era.
I think we actually wound up talking for about an hour before Xil said he thought he had enough audio, but I guess all the times my internet dropped during the chat added up. The ironic thing is that we wound up talking for almost another hour; it just wasn’t recorded. So thanks for singing my game’s praises for another 20 minutes.
And who knew I’d go last when I had Cosette say to enjoy the rest of FEE3?
And that’s a wrap! That’s FEE3 2021, folks! (But be sure to catch up on videos you missed as well, they’re not going anywhere!)
I want to give a thank you first and foremost to the general community and all of the creators that submitted projects this year. You are the reason FEE3 can even happen, and it was once again an awesome year of seeing everything this community has been up to! FEU is the Mecca of Fire Emblem hacking because of the hard work and dedication of all in the community, and this year’s showcases displayed that once again.
I want to thank everyone who was involved in the operation of FEE3 this year, as it was a true community-wide effort. LPers, thank you for the many, many hours spent showcasing projects. Quality team, thank you for helping to ensure that showcases were suitable for the audience. Art team, thank you for pumping out 80 thumbnails and giving the show a consistent visual identity. Promotion team, thank you for your efforts in getting the word out about the event. And last, a huge thanks to Cam and the rest of the FEU staff, both on the website and Discord, for all of your assistance!
A post-FEE3 discussion thread will likely be posted sometime in the future, but I suspect many of us will need a few days to decompress from the event until then. It has been an honor and a privilege to put on the show this year, and I hope it has lived up to the lofty legacy of FEE3. Thank you all once again!
Thanks you guys for organizing this FEE3 for the whole community, and congrats to everyone who presented their project this year ! I’m just amazed by how much projects we had this years, and how much qualitative they were (be it game, animations, technical advancement in modding, etc.) !
Some fantastic projects this, just wanna reiterate that this year’s FEE3 has been organized amazingly and it was so much fun seeing so many cool works showcased.
Also, maybe we should just change Fire Emblem E3 to F.E.E.T.
This year was great, I had so much fun viewing the first fee3 I participated in. I guess I’ll see ya’ll on the flipside(Or on a later fee3 thread). Have fun and live life gamers.
Thank you WarPath for organizing this year - from my limited involvement this year, can tell it was smooth sailing. Appreciate the many committee volunteers and staff for stepping up to support this year, too.
Looking forward to reviewing the data (at a glance it looks like we made huge strides in terms of views/subs) and discussing plans for next year in the post-mortem thread.
It was a great show and I still have to watch some stuff I missed - But already I can tell I had much fun. Even though I got sick right before the presentation and forgot that the showcase of our project would be delayed by a few hours due to time difference… Typical me.
Also there are now so many new projects I’m looking forward to. I wish every developer out there the best for their game.
See ya next year. Hopefully with the same energy if not more o/
