I’ve got a few hours before work, time to binge showcases :eyes:

Legacy of Sorrow! Very nice looking map Bpat, and I like the tweeks you’re making to vanilla formulas and principles, gives the project more of it’s own identity. Big fan of more projects using Gaiden weight. :eyes:

Guard of Avelon! Man, this project has come a long way Kyrads, great map and showcase! I love the deflated stats, it gives everything a special flavor, makes every stat point stand out, and seems like combined with fixed growths it will be well considered.

Paradigm Shift! Very cool showcase, I love the useage of icons on enemies to highlight skills, in additon to the more typical effective weapon and critical weapon warnings. Lots of neat skills on player units too! Will definitely be looking out for this project in the future.

If this thumbnail doesn’t get you interested in this project, then I don’t know what will.

Unification! One of the ellusive Tactile projects, and it looks very nice! Neat map, and a nice showcase of some of Tactile’s features. Shoutouts to Dainn and Pik for the entertainment as well. :smirk:

Illuminated! A neat preps/shopping chapter followed by a split party map! I feel like I’m starting to repeat myself a tad, but the visuals and music are also quite polished. Many fun items and weapons as well.

Blessed Heart! If vanilla but better is what you were aiming for, than you certainly delivered! There’s something very charming about this project, hard to put my finger on, but I’m interested in seeing more!

Sun God’s Wrath: Kaizo Edition! You took the bow armor out of the armor, 0/10, worst hackrom showcase.

…Jokes aside, seems neat, although I’m sure many of the changes are lost on me. You did give Mikey more screen time though, which is always a plus!

You’d have to understand a lot of the inside jokes and thinking that went on when we all were randomly throwing around changes for sgw kaizo

in a sense, it’s all just one big shitpost we made up on some random night lmao

Prophecy of Flames! It’s always a pleasure to have a project creator be a part of their showcase. I enjoyed the commentary, and also the idea of using different combat themes for different unit factions or backgrounds is really clever! Haven’t seen anything like that before.

Grug’s Primitive Disadventure! It sure is a meme hack. weed 420 lmao. Although, I will admit that I got a laugh out of “Flexbot”, and you get bonus points for the SMT music and wild thumbnail.

Just want to drop by and say how cool it’s been that you’ve given every project some sort of kind and positive reception (and not just mine). It’s been one of the my favorite things about this FEE3 thread, and in my opinion, this year’s showcase has immensely benefited from it. Thanks again!

I have returned with more drawings! Something all three of these games have in common is a focus on story. I really enjoy games like that.

Lady of Masks

I drew this picture soon after watching the Lady of Masks showcase. Around halfway through the video, Xilirite pauses for a moment to kill a spider. In this drawing, Gael, whose class is Pacifist, demonstrates my favourite way to safely remove a spider from your home without having to touch it.

I learned about Lady of Masks by seeing it play tested on the FEU Discord. I’m a lurker, so I haven’t had the chance to interact with many people here at FEU. I wanted to draw something for one of the few creators here I’ve managed to become acquainted with.

7 Siblings

I drew this picture of Arianna several months ago. She is the the lord of the game, but I wouldn’t call her the main character. She’s an archer.

I learned about 7 Siblings when Xetetic played it on his YouTube channel. That was what brought me here to FEU. I was pleasantly surprised to see Xetetic playing a new chapter of 7 Siblings for the showcase. I’m glad it was on day 7, too.

Illuminated

The one shows the main character, Jay, and the light tome Candescent. I thought about adding Finch and Caius too, but I had hoped to get this done in time for the showcase, so I left them out. As it is now, there’s some empty space on the sides. Perhaps that would be a good place to put some ad copy for the game. :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes:

I came across Illuminated by chance. I like how the tension is always high. It reminds me a little of Kaiji (an anime and manga that has been likened to Squid Game) in that way. I tried to channel that by adding detail to make Jay look more stressed out than he does in his in-game portrait.

Gael would definitely try to save the spider! Unfortunately, I’m scared witless by the little guys, so the only way I know to deal with them is violence :pensive: cute art! love it ^.^

Stargazer! I was very impressed with the eventing and tech on display in this showcase! The ability to cross under the bridge is rad, and I love the enemy boats that drop off reinforcements! Some neat items and weapons too of course, all in all very promising! Great work Wasspix.

Myrm Emblem! I’ve seen FE Red and FE Midori, but now we have a similar project but it’s all everyone’s favorite edgy sword classes! I love how much attention to detail is payed to the source characters with their skills, weapons, and stat spreads. It’s also remarkable how much you’ve acomplished when every unit has to wield a sword. Very fun project Renoud.

Twilight Sword! Lovely art, both mugs and user interface. Lots of unorthodox skills and classes too, I particularly love the bow wyvern! Lots of FE4 vibes from this project in particular, I’m totally going to keep this one on my radar.

A Mercenary’s Tale! A Elibe hack! In the year 2021! Makes me all nostalgic, not gonna lie, and the fully custom portraits and music(!) are very cool! Something about the FE7 look and feel always has me like :relieved: .

Thanks! The Lady of Masks picture was done in crayon, and the others were done in pencil crayon along with black ink for the outlines.
