Thank you for posting the details to the charity. Seems to be what people were asking for, here.
The process looks straightforward enough, so hopefully enough people will see the intro video and help out, with whatever means are available to them… even just spreading the word.
Oof, Just found out about this whole cool thing of a FEE3. Hopefully I can join next year with my game. If it’s done by then. New to this community of fire emblem.
I can’t feel hyped unfortunately, I’m too busy panicking over having no news about my hack and whether or not it’s gonna end up on the final lineup despite the event starting in a few days…
Well, at least I’ll feel proud of the various projects I’ve helped that managed to get there! It’s still something, haha.
(I’m sorry for being so insistant, and I understand how hard it is to organize something like that, but please understand it’s also stressful to work on a project, not seeing it featured in the final list and having no other new than “yeah we’ll tell you at some point”. Even if you don’t wish for my project to be there, which I can understand, please just be frank and tell me)
Y’all realize that I have a job, right? Actually, make that two jobs (plus another part-time job running a political campaign right now).
Pandan told you that your project was going to be included. So I’m not quite sure why all of the dramatic flair was necessary?
People seriously need to chill out. The organizing team is doing our best. There was one thing on the schedule left that needed to get sorted out before updating. Jesus.
It’s been a rough year for everyone, so I’d like to up the ante a bit – I will personally match the amount on the FEE3 2020 donation ticker at the end of the event, up to the first $1500 (so, if we raise $600, I’ll donate another $600 for $1200 total)! Let’s get fired up!
Thank you and Pandan for the updates! As I said at least twice before, I’m really sorry for being insistant, and I know how hard it can be to organize something this massive, especially with the whole charity stuff on top of it. I can’t thank you guys enough for keeping me updated!
It’s enough stress and work to put the event together, and the organizing team has been putting in a lot of work, but dealing with the nitpicking of details and the public freak-outs about schedule updates are unnecessary and exhausting. You want to talk about cordiality? I don’t think people really respect the amount of time and energy it takes to pull a show with 72 participating projects together. That’s just what I see based on the attitude. So that’s the source of frustration.
I’m very thankful for the organizing team, I’ll say that @Pandan, @CT075, and @Dancer_A have taken on the bulk of the work this year and they deserve the credit and recognition.
I’ll say it again: people need to chill out. This whole thing is a labor of love, just relax and enjoy it.
Our regular host Mage Knight 404 wasn’t able to do the event this year, so we decided to move ahead with creating an independent platform that can host FEE3 now and in the future.
