I noticed Ike gains exp more than other units, but he’s level 20 in chapter 6. Is this normal?

Does Ike still get his promotion in chapter 17? I’ve never had a unit that’s capped level this early. Does he have Elite on a higher difficulty, or is this because I’m playing on easy mode?
Yes, he will promote in chapter 17. Any difficulty. In the castle you can buy some candy which will reduce the level. So it’s ok.

that’s a very interesting way of looking at these games, it’s almost like making the game into a game like chess. Rigging the RNG is usually something only speedrunners or LTC players do in the English community from what I’ve seen.

I am glad you undertand the way we design. In Chinese we call fe a battle chess game. So you need to carefully think about a way to move your chessman. If that is a wrong way then the character will die. It’s not saying that ike moves to the face of lancer and can avoid the attack using rig and servive in the next turn. You need to think about a way that next turn he will take some damage but he can still servive.

Also I do wonder if tier 3 promotion items are buyable at a certain point, given that tier 3 classes are supposed to be a standard thing in fe10
Yes, you can go back after part 4. In the castle, you will find Joan of Arc.

It’s not buyable, buy you can go for the pirate to get one. It will be random.
Good to know! I already have plenty of characters promotion ready so it’d be cool to see them be able to use the SS rank weapons when they eventually have the rank

What does the fe9+10 re.ups differently from the one in the dropbox
The first one just contains fe9, I put there because it will record how many players try our game.
Should I use the fe9+10 re.ups or the one in the dropbox?
