Darkling Woods got a sizable map size increase, though as a result, there’s more space to fight the enemies in. Enemy headcount is also up to 191, compared to 153 on vanilla Hard. However, most of these units are late-stage reinforcements and playing quickly should drastically limit how many are fought. The main purpose of the map is to wear down player supplies; there’s no droppables or stealables, nor are there any shops to resupply on. On the plus, however, the drastic increase in enemy quality should ensure that player units are capped or nearing cap by the time they finish the chapter.
