After over 2 months, I’ve finished recording an entire playthrough of S4S Yabai on 0 growths.

Greetings I’ve been playing the game on Seiso mode and on chapter 8 there is a gamebreaking bug where the first move of any unit freezes the game.
Is there a way to quick fix these on Febuilder? Cause I really want to finish thus game now that I have gain traction of the story and I would like to find out if Ina is in game.

Hi, I have enjoy the rom and played until chapter 10. As I was looking at the promotion path for units, i realized that it was mostly repetitive with magic unit (shrine maiden, mage, light mage and light mage) which can only go either bishop or sage. Or that archer and crossbowman share the same promotion path (sniper and ranger). Knowing that there are class like battle mage and gunner, will there be change to the promotion path in a future update?

Also, I have seen the comment made by Rayn
and I would like to suggest something. The first gaiden chapter would be automatically accessible. For exemple, after chapter 3, if you didn’t visite the village, you could add a cutscene where the old man comes out of the village and forgive baelz for her actions or just have baelz say she has a ticket for the circus. This would then force the player to go to the gaiden chapter. Then on chapter 3x, you could start with a pop up that would say something about the game having gaiden chapter that can be unlock. It would be a nice way to introduce gaiden chapter and allowing the player to always have access to the mobile convoy

That is correct, yes. There will most likely be a class tree rework, among expanding the class list to avoid overlap.

Hello good morning, good evening, and good afternoon here is the video of the bug that I’m talking about and this gba file is made from the 1.8.2 patch. Though I just literally disabled one event that I think is the cause of it and is this bugged event crucial to the whole game?

Hi, if you don’t mind me asking, how far have you advanced in making your update? And, how can people contact you in case they would like to help. While I don’t have skill nor experience in sprite making, there might be some who are that may want to help.

Also, how are you doing. I hope everything is going well for you and if you ever feels a burnout or feel stuck, take a break and care for yourself.

The rework has been taking up most my time, unfortunately.

So far the biggest time consumers are the aesthetics and learning the new medium to make the game (Buildfiles). Im just about done applying most of the bigger patches, then i’ll start adding the regular events/new maps I had in mind.

  1. Patch a fresh rom with the new patch.
  2. Find your previous .sav file
  3. Name the .sav file the same as your new patch and place it in the same folder as your game

When you run the game you should be able to carry over your progress

I finished the hack from start to finish and restarted on every unit death to experience all the gaiden chapters (I recruited everyone as well). I was hesitant to play because I didnt know anything about vtubers I mean they were cool but egh idk if I’d like such a long hack dedicated to hololive (a vtuber agency).

This game is hard especially because you want to keep everyone alive for the many wonderful gaiden chapters. It’s a long grueling hack that got me into vtubers. Heres some feed back and info future users might find useful.

Bugs:

  • If you obtain an item that lets you give your units a skill be aware that if you send the skill item to your convoy it can transform into another skill. Not sure the criteria for why this happened.
  • I play hacks on my 3ds and whenever a unit dies I press A+B+LB+RB this restarts the game. This saves time instead of waiting for the enemy to finish their turn and stuff. I found that if I do this restart exactly when one of my units die sometimes when I reload the save one of my unit’s skill will transform. My Amelia’s lance breaker skill turned into the skill where neither your nor your enemy can double attack and my super noel’s collosus skill turned into some random skill (I don’t remember because I reloaded a save from the previous chapter to get that skill back).
  • When fighting clock I froze her with sleep sword however when my Subaru melee attacked the sleeping kroni, kroni actually attacked back. However Subaru didn’t die but her Max hp went from 56 max hp to 1 max hp.

Feed back:

  • As a mumei oshi, change her +2 indoor movement skill into a static always +2 movement. Change Fauna/Mumei A support bonus skill from outdoor tiles giving +2 movement into weapon durability does not decrease for mumei (industrialization). I would have suggested the bonus skill from support should be assassinate when you attack you will double attack before enemy can counter. However you can buy single use assassinate skill item in a late game secret shop.
  • I think every Tier 1 class’s max stats should be 30 and every Tier 2 class should have 60 max stat.
  • Buff Caliope so she has +10 to every one of her current stats. Because enemies will have 60 every stat later, having cali have 50 stats (excluding the one stat shes not at max) doesn’t make her better than the other secret end game unit you can recruit but it also means cali can still be useful against the strongest end game enemies.
  • The post game’s reduce max Level item should be more available throughout the play through. I may have missed some of the earlier secret shops but I wanted to use gura and had to drop her because it would be too resource intensive to get her to be a carry unit because of the level she comes with and base stats plus her 40 max stat.

Sorry, I see the chapter guide, but not anything about what you get from getting each support to A rank.

Shiina made a post a few months ago explaining everything you get from A supports. It should be around post #1111 to #1121.

Oh I’m sorry I miss remembered the max stat is 50. However I’d still like to see tier 2 units have 50 max stats and tier 1 units at 30 max stats.
