Just noticed this and it’s kind of funny, on Edric when he is promoted and you have him selected the sprites above him just have a seizure. Nothing game braking just a funny thing that i only noticed now.

My boy is the best emulator out there for mobile so if it is a emulator thing it must be on everything mobile related.
Doesn’t really matter. I barely even noticed it while taking notes.

My boy is just more convenient and has more quality of life features than the rest. All of the emulators have roughly the same performance.

Thank you so much. I just wanna say this is a phenomenal work of art. I judged it a little to soon with it not being iron man friendly but my god is this story gripping! Everything I can say about it has already been said but you can count me as another fan!

I feel like most romhack creators recommend mGBA via retroarch than My Boy these days. Slightly more setup than just downloading My Boy in fairness, but I wouldn’t say that My Boy is the best GBA emulator out there - not anymore at least.

I’m making my first play through dark amulet. I just wanted to say thank you 1) For such an amazing romhack and 2) For the note on chapter 22x. Otherwise I would have assumed, and that would have been lots of headache. Thank you again for such a great experience, looking forward to playing the sequel too!

Just finished the hack and I have to congratulate you for the incredible work. I enjoyed the characters and ended up with all the romantic endings except for Julia/Harlan (might be bugged, couldn’t get their A Supports to trigger), Leandra/Catrine, and the Wyvern pair. Was especially impressed by the difficulty curve, which I found to be non-frustrating throughout. Though if I had to offer some minor criticism, locking key character backstory details behind A-support conversations with non-romantic pairings is somewhat annoying - I never got to find out who Elyse’s mother was nor why Sir Rowan was always tardy! Looking forward to playing the sequel.

this honestly has nothing to do with how amazing this hack is but I needed to vent about this now that I’ve noticed.
In 9 levels my lord has gained 0 def 2 str and and 2 spd, this culminated in enemies 1 rounding him on chapter 5 and hime needing a minimum of 2 turns to kill the cavalry with his effective prf weapon. Truly disasterous level ups.

So, a while ago I started this hack, but then I adhd-ed and got dragged onto a whole other thing, and after the trailer for the sequel I relized I definitely needed to play this, so here I am, playing the final chapter, and really I’m just concerned I messed up because, well… Some of my romantic pairings can’t support to A! I don’t know what I did wrong, or if I didn’t do something wrong and they aren’t supposed to be able to support yet, or… I’m just really hoping I didn’t mess up. Other than that, I have had a great time, although frequently this game has beaten me into the dirt. Difficult, fun, great writing.
Edit: The only endings I missed were Ruslan/Tigerlily and Dwalt/Rivkah, which is really frustrating almost purely because I wanted to see Ruslan and Tigerlily’s the most. They were so adorable!

I just finished this hack and it’s absolutely amazing! Your characters have deeply captivated me, and the story never once felt dull. It got progressively better as the chapters passed. While the game design philosophy was not the most aligned with my preference, it found a way to charm it anyways.
Feu is lucky to have a brilliant writer like you. I’m feeling very inspired after finishing your story!
