Just finished playing through and finished Rabbit Dog. Thank God you can beat it with just Louise and Pent (Hard) cause I just sent scrubs to and Isadora with them. I noticed that if you do a action and use a skill scroll then back of learning it you get full move after. I only saw it when I got a scroll out of a chest. Iām going to see if it works with other things that give you the option to trade, use item, or attack w/o being able to move. Fucking love this mod and canāt wait till its finished. Good work yall!

Oh god please yes. Bonus EXP system was the most fun thing to interact with in the Radiance titles.
Would certainly make healers and bards/dancers less of a hassle to level as well. : D
This is so damn impressive and Iām having so much fun, except Iāve been stuck on chapter 19, consecutively resetting because rathās units keep clogging up my hallways and preventing me from recruiting raven before he kills himself.
I desperately want the ability to rescue green units just to get the out of the way.
That complaint aside, very impressive work across the board, for every single feature.
Edit: Also, is ther a way to reset the chapter without going back to basecamp and having to repeat conversations, item management, and supports?
Not sure if itās intentional, but in chapter 4 of Lyn Story - where you recruit Erk and Serra - if youāre not using the personal magic system, it looks like Serra shows up with no heal staff and if youāre playing with the revised shop list, the shop at chapter 7 doesnāt sell heal staves.
so i played some of fe7lex, namely lyn mode ā first few chapters after (albeit went back and skipped lyn because thats my usual tendency lol).
modern/hard if that matters.
overall thoughts
alotta the pacing so far feels fairly slowed down from 7. most notably the 3rko soldiers in another journey. with alotta the map actively not allowing you to use beil because its damage reduction makes the ai not attack you (guess theyāve got fates ai, which honestly just seems like a general negative within this so far).
tried some of the post-LM maps on normal as well to see if thatād improve it (and it did, a bit) but still found flow in general to be more sluggish without having many real new moment-to-moment gameplay questions to ask myself.
thereās also just a ton of low% floating crit about (once more, another journey, as wire has 2% crit on hector fsr) that just produces annoyances since at this point it just means any chip has a 4-8% of being a kill instead. amplified by the amount of minor +crit boost personal skills continuing this annoyance where its not low enough to ignore but not high enough to ever consider it.
loot/items changes iāve seen were hit and miss, same with many of the item changes. the general -1 damage taken on lances is odd, and on hard mode it pushes those aforementioned soldiers into 3round range. lord prfs felt weaker and often without new alternatives for things they were meant to solve.
notable examples
or in the case of another journey (the most consistently problematic), the red gemās been turned into a weapon the boss is no longer weak to, and now im just left with a weapon that wonāt see any active use for a while, because it has no good targets.
for another example, blood of prideās armorslayer was replaced with a ridersbaneā¦with an armored boss. followed by two maps thatāre generally bereft of mounted enemies to fight anyhow.
mug changes ranged from fine to iffy, alotta them are fine and iāve got no issue, but a few just look a bit garish with their new colors and less pleasing on the eye. most notably the armor trims now have a plastic toy look to them, and eliwoodās cavalcade of blues is just not good to look at.
ux additions like the blue circles and map palettes are nice haves, i enjoy the on map unit palettes and itās pretty readable. but the circles visually clash with 7ās aesthetics.
the voicelines are definitely a personal taste kind of thing, 'cause hearing them so clear doesnāt feel right with gba visuals to me LOL
also it was really fucked up to give the another journey wall +5 lol. i really am just confused about it, cause now it takes two turns to break the wall down for seemingly no reason.
most of all im kinda just left wonder if iāve played on the wrong mode
tl;dr i think thereās a ton of impressive work here, especially in modularity, but as is i find the pace (which is often what makes a epic fe map) is really dampened compared to 7 and many of the changes leave some negative impact on that pace.
alotta it is almost there, but as is it really needs those nudges to get into a place where most interactions donāt have this feeling of wrongness to them, so to speak.
if you donāt mind me asking. what commands can we use in the debug menu?

I appreciate everyoneās feedback. I havenāt had much time to respond but am more active on the Discord. I am preparing an update with several more chapters and many revisions and new features. Hoping to have it released this month.
@DameCadenza - Thank you for your kind words. The S-rank supports are not necessarily romantic. Right now, any two units who could obtain a paired ending in FE7 are eligible for an S-rank support. You can think of them as a way of determining which units get their paired endings. That being said, I have written new conversations for all S supports. I do intend to add more S supports later on.
I donāt have a Patreon currently as, despite the years of work Iāve put into this project, I donāt think it would sit well with Nintendo or be morally right to profit from derivative work such as this. But especially that Nintendo part. They love suing people.
*Edit: Iāve uploaded the main file with a testing version for those who are interested in helping to find bugs. Those who are not should wait for the next main version later this month! There will be issues with backwards compatibility with old save files, so the previous version is no longer available.

Hey there~ iāve been playing in a while and iām loving everything. The color palettes are great, the characters sprites are amazing, but iām confusing about somethings, the healing formula its a little confused for me.
iām playing the modern fire emblem, i notice that the weapon rank shows bonuses (what i love it) but iām consufed about the healing, the rank shows +heal 1/2/3, my serra has 7 mag + heal + 3, has giving 17, I thought the bonus was not being applied, i try making the formula but i couldnāt get it, i try fates and awakening but the is not the right number, my priscilla was 6 mag + mend + 2 was giving 25 heal, so iām very confused about it, can you help me ?.
I notice that Raven and Lucius donāt have a S support, they have an ending together right?, they are my fav hope is added soon, donāt know if is intentional but the skill of the cav Canto, is called canter on the game.
also, i think i found bugs, lyn was a villager, after encounter lyn again on caelin assault, she is a lord and has lost her skill that is effective on pirates etcā¦, its not on the skill place for each characters or anything, florina face on lynās mode i think itās her close eyes face, on the pirate ship when Fergus enters the ship the game crashes, I saved the debug in case it helps, but if you just skip the scene the game works normally, besides that everything is great thanks again~ā„
