Also, I would like to mention a small thing I noticed:
I noticed that the west side of the map in “New Resolve” is very similar to the east side of the map in “The Port of Badon”.
Could they be the same area? The likely answer is that the developers just copied a part of Badon’s map, but I would like to think they are the same area, so I have changed it.
Of course, I kept both shops and one of the armories. Not the one that only sells steel weapons, though. I also added a secret shop; I don’t think it will be too hard to find.
Hello, folks! Beta 1.07 is ready! Here are the notable changes:
Several weapons have been modified (again).
Generals now start with a D-rank in swords.
Sages and Druids now start with a D-rank in staves.
Support growth values have been increased for all characters, especially late-game units.
Several quality-of-life patches have been installed.
Hard mode level bonuses now scale similarly to FE6. This will be balanced after testing.
Soldiers have somewhat higher base stats.
The map in “New Resolve” has been modified.
The Paladin (F) animation by Team SALVAGED is now used for Isadora, and the monk card class has been replaced as well (credits to Blademaster and Itranc).
That’s it for now, folks! Details are in the changelog, as usual.
Hello, folks! BETA 1.08 is out. This is a small update, but here are the notable changes:
Several characters’ base stats have been modified.
Fighters now get 3 speed when they promote.
Afa’s Drops now give a 15% boost to a unit’s growth rates.
That’s it for now, folks! Check the changelog for more information. I have also included a document that shows all base stats that have been or may be changed.
I have a question/suggestion. Any plans to give Eli, Lyn and Hector their “brave” sprites/animations? I think some of them are free to use. If you don’t want to perfectly fine and understandable, especially in Lyn’s case as her brave animation has her on a horse.
I believe the hack already uses Redbean’s Brave Eliwood, so I would only need to import the Brave Hector and Lyn animations from the repository.
I don’t think importing the Brave Lyn animations would be difficult; I know I would have to change her movement, for example.
Alternatively, I could make it possible to use a separate promotion item (and class) for Brave Lyn, if I can figure out how to implement it. That way, we’ll be able to choose which class she promotes to.
Hi folks. I have been having some technical difficulties with my computer, so I won’t be able to release an update for a while.
I do not intend to abandon this project, so if you don’t hear from me, it is likely that I still have not solved these issues. I apologize for any inconveniences.
unfortunately this game is nearly unplayable on hh when you reach the Zephiel chapter, he cant survive the inflated stats fighters when you give him a lancereaver.
Hi. It’s been a while, hasn’t it? I’m still working to fix any issues that still exist with the hack. I’ve been changing base stats and enemy growth rates for classes, weapon stats, and a few other things.
I’m still working on it though, so in the meantime, I’d like to release a “Vanilla Plus” patch that just features the basic quality of life changes, patches, fixes, restorations, and other changes. I’d like to see this as a sort of baseline in case I or anyone else needs to build on it. I’m not sure whether or not I should make a new thread for this “lite” version, but here it is anyway:
Below is some information on the exact changes. Please, do not hesitate to give suggestions. I like to be busy.
QUALITY OF LIFE CHANGES
Quality of Life Changes
Earth Seals replace the original promotion items in several maps.
Dart can now promote with an Earth Seal.

Eclipse has a hit rate of 60%.
Hector’s Wolf Beil gives two points of weapon EXP per hit.
The Mani Katti gives five points of Defense when equipped.
Zephiel has better stats, and does not move from the pillar. He also has an extra Elixir.
Kishuna is slower, weaker, and easier to hit.

“Fixed glitch when canto ballista with cavalry ride it”
From FEBuilderGBA: “Pressing B immediately after placing a cavalryman on a ballista (arch) would cause a CANTO. When this happens, the attack menu will appear even after the CANTO, and if you select it, the game will freeze. This patch avoids this glitch by disallowing units on ballistae to canto re-move.”
For unknown reasons, Renault’s level was counted for the route split for Pale Flower of Darkness. This has been corrected to count Canas’s level.
“Fimbulvetr Glitch Fix”
From FEBuilderGBA: “Fix the Fimbulvetr Glitch. Fimbulvetr Glitch occurs because drawing a lot of animation of a snowstorm causes the Procs area to be exhausted. This patch reduces the amount of snow and makes bugs less likely to occur. The more you reduce it, the safer it is, but the amount of snowstorm decreases.”

Sounds like a decent rom patch though I noticed you weren’t using the rebalanced bases in this one so I’m wondering what you’re trying to make out of this patch. The only things this one and the Alternate are missing are the Casual Modes and the removal of the forced Lyn’s tutorial. Other than that it’s still a decent patch.
Hi, thanks for the reply. Basically, I wanted to make a “basic” version, just in case people don’t like the big changes I have in mind.
For example, I’ve been experimenting with changing the enemy growths, class base stats, and weapon stats. I’m hoping to use another game as inspiration for my changes.
Hmmm you have a fair point there… however, that kinda stuff already existed in the enchancement plus and the OK Redux patches, both having QoL and Casual Modes in them with minor differences and stuff. Sorry if I corrected you but you do you while making these rebalance patches awesome!
