FE6xna First Public Release

I don’t remember what was in the release, but likely what was planned was those three + Miledy, Ziess, Lilina, Percival, and Douglas. I can’t think of much of a reason to add anyone else.

Well, chapter 25 has been completed. Guess that’s game.

No ending/epilogue, but I’m pretty sure we all know how the good ending for FE6 goes.

All in all… Really great job with this! To me, having finished FE6xna, it feels very much like ‘what FE6 wanted to be.’

Major antagonists Zephiel and Jahn were way more challenging bosses (well, more in Zephiel’s case.)

None of the story was ‘rewritten…’ well, maybe Sacae was, but all the new story bits felt perfectly fitting and not out of place. Even better, they contributed to the story rather than feeling tacked on.

Summary

Guinivere’s added presence (literally, in part 4) was a huge boost. She’s one of my favorite characters from FE6, and your rendition of her only improved on someone I already viewed as a great character.

The boss convo between Jahn and Roy was a nice touch as well, as was the whole explanation behind how Idunn’s ‘dragon-spawning’ power actually works. Wasn’t expecting a call-back to FE7, but it’s a nice touch. Can’t say I feel any particular way about the Ninian/Eliwood ending, but I’ll admit story-wise it has the most potential, what with the implications about Roy’s genealogy.

Not sure how to do screenshots with the xna stuff, so I’ll just share my top 4 party members.

Summary

Lot… you were… a hilariously unbalanced warrior. It took 2 skill books and at least 1 energy ring to get him usable early-mid game, but holy cow he was determined to be a physical tank. Might not have dealt the most damage, but boy could he take it!

The ‘world class mage.’ Not sure if I got mag-screwed, but all of his other stats were high enough that he was consistently one of my best units. Great all-around unit who was a surprisingly tough tank.

The Mage/Sorcery General I always wanted in vanilla FE6. She might’ve been my best unit overall. High mobility, good staff usage, durability + damage output… Cecilia could do it all!

Summary

As befitting of Roy’s future wife.

Super duper mega spoilers

Summary

Her majesty, queen of Bern

She actually got another level after this, which set her at an even 26 for Mag, Skill, Speed, and Luck.

Wait, she has an s-rank support with Roy? You know what that means…

Should’ve added it back when I was playing this, but major props to whoever did the new portraits for Zephiel and Guinivere.

I’m sorry if this is necro-posting, but I just wanted to know if there was a way to check growths? You said some units got their growths changed but I don’t see where I can check them

I don’t typically post growths because I believe it gives false confidence/information
The colors that unit stat’s change will indicate how close/far from their averages they are (green = above, red = below).

…I see, I did notice the green/red thing and thought about averages.

I usually just look at growths to see if I’m going to have to focus statboosters on a certain unit or to understand if a unit I’m using is worth giving lots of training. I don’t really discriminate like that since I normally just use the units I like/want to use regardless of how good or bad they are. I get why you think that way, but it would’ve been nice to know. Also I don’t get how it’s false information? The numbers that they give (that end up giving the averages) are more often than not correct, and the 60% IS a 60%, not like any of those false hit % from 2rn. But I digress.

You should know whether or not to drop a unit by the colors of their stats
Mostly red = not doing well
Mostly green = blessed

By false information I mean more expectations, you expect 60% to proc all the time, yet it very well may just not. And you don’t expect a 20% to really ever proc, and sometimes it will more often than not.

It’s a design philosophy; you don’t have to agree with it but I don’t plan on changing that any time soon.

Hello My friend… 1 question… in this hack i have the posibility that promoted to thieves like Cath?

It’s not a hack, and yes; thieves can class change.

Ok body… he’s change to assassins or picary?

I have no idea what picary means, but Cath and Chad class change to Rogue, Astolfo class changes to Assassin.
