I was trying to play with fates characters in vanilla order but a character came in the earlier than they should? Is their something weird happen with the game? The character is nyx and I think she’s in the slot where subaki should be.( i also noice the peg knight are in a weird order too so maybe that’s it?) Also is the 2nd button in the setting for animation supposed to turn it off?
Fates has 3 routes and therefore 3 recruitment orders normally, but only 1 recruitment order here. I have no idea what the order is.
There’s a bug with turning off danger bones and with anims turning off sometimes that I’ll fix today.
Edit: Should be fixed now hopefully ![]()
Ok does fe6 have thea show up early
I think that’s supposed to be the other blue hair flyer ( I think thea is recreate when you already have shanna so how would you recruit her earlier)
Unless the order is not the recruitment order that you get them in tho that doesn’t make sense since the rest of the characters show up in the right order with the right character it’s just the two Pegasus knights (also animation style to the one with the background seem to not function correctly I don’t know if that fixed fixed that)
Ah ha well at least for the first issue the simple fix for now would be swapping the characters because yeah I don’t know why they’re in opposite slots to where they’re supposed to be they are supposed to be in the order you recruit them
Thanks for the answer (but yeah those seem like the only characters out of place in where they are placed) I will keep that in mind when trying to play in vanilla or reverse order.
Yeah luckily it’s only one set of characters and not like the whole sets though it would be annoying if you’re trying to do a vanilla order run
Oops, I mixed them up. I’ve fixed it for the next time I push an update, thanks.
Umm i was testing custom class promotions( for curiosity) and
I got this to happen with fencer is it supposed to take away stats this is just with vanilla caps the only thing that changed was the class
Oh that promotion yeah I get why it happens but it doesn’t make sense considering it promotes into a promoted class in Fire Emblem 7(being blade lord the most similar would be a nomad trooper or ranger in fe8 case) in theory if it was changed to that it would probably work better for fe6 and fe8(also could totally be given to lyns lord promotion for now considering how close it is to her actual class just realized that)
Oh yeah her class is in fe6 and fe8. Yeah nomad trooper/ranger seems like a very fitting class
What fire emblem rom do you patch this with to work on gba emulator?
Fire Emblem: Fuuin no Tsurugi [Japan]
Once patched it will be in english. There is no official english release of fe6, so the rom to patch must be the official japanese rom.
Anyone know what randomizer application was used to make this rom?
This rom was not made in an application. Perhaps you’re looking for yune? My self randomizers are completely separate from yune, but that application is another way to create a randomized rom.
My buildfile for the self randomizers is here:
https://github.com/Veslyquix/SRR_FEGBA
I tried Yune couldn’t get it to work. I just wanna do a rom like this one that gives me all options to change stuff at beginning of game like growths and class changes it’s very cool. And thanks. Also do you know where I can get a rom for fire emblem 8 that works properly to patch a rom hack?
I cannot tell you where to get a rom. You’ll have to get one yourself.
See the rules thread:
Roms can be dumped yourself in a perfectly legal way by following this guide:
Question. Is there a document somewhere that details all the possible non-FE6 characters in their normal classes?
These csv files:
Note that if you have added classes turned off, then there will be some class substituting. Eg. Someone that starts as a trueblade would instead become a swordmaster.
I have another question as I approach the lategame. If Roy or the Roy replacement has a different class than normal (i.e. Brigand or Berserker), is he still forced to promote into a Great Lord at the end of Chapter 21/21x?
No, but it’ll still pause for 20 seconds.
