FE6 Self Randomizer [Complete v2.00] *Pick Your Edits* <Boss Recruitment> [100% Growths] |Dancers Only| <Reverse Recruitment> [0% Growths] {Oops All Lilina} <Character Crossover> [QoL Enhancements] 700+ characters - “Vanilla” Gameplay

I haven’t randomized character classes for my run, but it looks like I rolled Lethe as my Yoder replacement and she’s a Swordmaster???

Is this because I disabled monster classes? I would’ve expected Laguz, Taguel, etc. to be lumped in with Manaketes.

Even though you didn’t randomize characters, BWL ram is used so that players can choose specific characters, even on vanilla settings. I probably missed hooking one of the places that write to bwl, which would cause this issue.

You can revert Yoder in chapter menu → config → preview units.

If you have a save file from shortly before Yoder is loaded, then send it my way and I’ll try to fix the root cause of this bug.

Hello Vesly,
I wanted to ask whether it’s possible to swap one character slot with another.
For example, I’d like to have the Marcus slot take the place of the Roy slot, so that any unit randomized into Roy would also become the Jagen-type unit with the corresponding extra stats, weapon ranks, and higher level. Does that make sense?

And I noticed that some FE4 units are missing, even though certain characters from other games appear across all the titles they’re in. For example, Catria, Est or Palla are available in both FE1/3 and FE2/15, while Leif, Diarmuid or Nanna, and other characters who appear in both FE4 and FE5 only show up in one game.

After starting the first chapter, open the debugger and turn Roy into Marcus and vice versa. Then your Jeigan type character will be able to seize and be the game over condition.

If you want a permanent change to make Roy Jeigan like, I recommend you edit his starting stats, class, and ranks in febuilder.

Good catch. I think these games had a pretty full roster already so I guess I didn’t bother with most duplicate characters. Perhaps I’ll revisit this decision at some point.

Stuck during a playthrough. As in, can’t exit out of it. I reload the rom, it instantly puts me back where I left off. No save select or options to start a new game.

I fixed it. Is there any way to make the generic enemies completely vanilla, only randomizing the playable cast and the loot we get?

Put settings with keywords like “enemy” and “boss” to vanilla. Press R for details if you’re confused about an option.

Make sure class randomization is off or set only for players.

There’s also an option at the top to set all settings to vanilla. You can press it, then choose which settings you want to be randomized.

Thanks!
