I released the first version of the fe8 one for playtesting in #dev-lounge on my discord yesterday and people have already found a fair few bugs to iron out before release.

Came across a funny little bug. Sophia replaced Lance, so their names were swapped. This also caused the Lancereaver to turn into a Sophiareaver.


The same thing goes for the Fire tome. Wolt apparently replaces Fir, so the Fire tome becomes a Wolte tome.

I personally don’t even think you should fix this. It’s quite hilarious. But i thought i’d mention it.

Yeah, playtesters found it funny, so I’ve left it as is. But thanks for the report. You’ll also see Dorcasdis or similar in fe7. Anyone who replaces Lyn gets -dis appended to their name sometimes.

That one’s the Japanese untranslated version that at least helps to know what self randomizing ROM you were doing

Fe6j, not a fan translation .gba you find online. This rom is translated, don’t worry.

Hi I just wanna ask how do we promote characters with the lord class, do we just wait till chap 21 or can we use any of the promote item?

Unless it’s Roy, they don’t currently promote.

@kugs I added a promote command for level 20 characters last month and forgot to mention it here.

Speaking generally, there have been many updates to the self randos and I don’t usually post about most updates on all 3 threads as I don’t want to spam the forum. But there are significant differences between the games and resolving bug reports for them so it doesn’t make sense to me to have only 1 thread for the 3 randomizers, even though they share a lot of code in common. When resolving a bug, the first thing I need to know is which game did it occur on, after all.
